Food is really good! Customer service is great. Definitely recommend and coming back. The menu is a little bit expensive but affordable.

A lovely family run resturant serving traditional basque dishes. The night menu mid week was €24 for 3 courses and included a choice of 4 entrees/plats/desert. The dishes we had were very good with very friendly and helpful service. Thoroughly recommended!

A narrow inconspicuous staircase leads down to the restaurant in the basement. Once downstairs, it is surprisingly cozy, bright and nicely decorated.
Because of the basement location, our cell phones had no reception, which is why we had difficulty translating and understanding the daily menu.
Fortunately, the waitress was extremely helpful and patient with us.
Menu of the day was perfect at a very fair price.
We would love to come back again.

By far this has been the most amazing experience I have had in San Sebastian, the overall quality of food was outstanding. I highly recommend the menu for lunch. The conclusion being an incredible pastry for desert.

For Starters we ordered the duck & ham salad and fish soup. Main course was a Turbot fish shared by 2 of us. Overall food was fresh & delicious. Service was friendly and efficient.

Great Restaurant in the center of the city. Being in a basement, the Restaurant is really authentic. The food tasted really good, all the dishes we had were delicious and seemed freshly made, the portions were big enough and the prices good for what you get. The service was very attentive and friendly. If you want to eat delicious and authentic food in San Sebastián, then I really recommend this place.

Found this place on Google maps by searching for Basque restaurants. The set menu deal was excellent. I had Garbanzos with Chorizo, fish and arroz con leche. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to others. Not crowded and fast service.

Surprising find. Excellent menu and food cooked with precision and flair. Do give the fillet steak with foie gras a try. Service warm and friendly.

Quite a smart below-ground restaurant. I had vegetable lasagne and baked bream from the menu del dia - with a half bottle of good white wine. Both well-cooked and well-presented. They like you to book if you can.

They have a very talented cook. I took menu and everything - mushroom salad with pork , ribeye steak and home made cheesecake were really delicious.

Decent food (not touristy). A quiet place for a sit down meal and not overly priced. Given its underground location would have missed it had it not been well rated.
