Well worth the trip to the top , great views of San Sebastián, when you’re had enough and are feeling adventurous you can walk back down onto the beach (45 minutes) through a nice bush track ,go down the main road leading up to the top and about 800 yards on your left is the start ( dirt) it’s fairly easy and down hill. Otherwise catch the funicular back down , there is also a public bus that takes you right to the entrance of the funicular from downtown

Amazing experience. Pet friendly :) Great views of San Sebastian.
The service is regular, there's a short break between 14.30 and 15.00.

Brilliant way to enjoy the best views of San Sebastian with a touch of history thrown in. The wait in line and climb to the top is well worth it. Unparalleled views at the top

It was much more fun than I expected. It takes 10-15 minutes to reach the top. Every 15 minutes, basically we can take the ride. The bus is convenient to go.

It was a nice experience. The funicular goes to the top and you have many places to see there. You can have small boat ride. On the top you have restaurant, cafe, games for kids and many more things. View from top is very amazing and beautiful. Will recommend for sure.

Amazing place to capture some great pictures of the bay.

The funicular gets packed during the day with long lines of people wanting to do the same.

There is a kids funpark up the top too. Also cafes, food and beer places too. You can walk all around to the west side of the peak and see up and down the west coast from here right up to the French border on a clear day.

I think funiculars are great and will always seek to go on one. This one is well maintained and not costly - €3.15 adult return ticket. Service runs regularly and takes just a few minutes to run up/down the hill. Good views and friendly service from the operators.

Great views from the top! A fun ride in one of the oldest transport systems in Europe (very well conserved btw) and an interesting old traditional park in the top of the mountain. I recommend this spot if you have kids or if you want to enjoy a breathtaking view from the city and the match between the green mountains and the turquoise sea water

Always a fun way to scale a mountain for only 3.15 euro. Very functional transport from the beach to the Vista, museum and children's amusement park. Train appears well maintained and views from above are breathtaking. Lots of small tourist shops and snack places. Public restrooms charged .20 Euro to use

We got there 20 minutes before the last trip, they warned us there wouldn't be much time. It is as still absolutely worth it! As dusk fell over San Sebastian the town looked incredible and we got some amazing pictures.

Amazing views! And romantic vintage train! Train every 10 minutes (in August). Tickets (round trip) about 12€ for 3 (2023), one way is possible as well. There is parking more close than indicated on maps, for free only on Sunday and holidays. Attractions on the top mostly for children, but we’ve enjoyed the boats - the channel running along the edge is quite impressive! There is a couple of junk food point, but we were not interested.

As I had a tight budget, I took a 30 minutes hike to Monte Igueldo. It was so worth it, such stunning views of San Sebastian. This was my dream-come-true as I fell in love with this place as a child. I am so grateful I had a chance to visit San Sebastian.
