SPAR Anfi Tauro

Great (not that) little grocery store. New, bright and clean. Good selection of veggies and breads. Excellent wine and spirits selection. We found everything on the list and more. Good prices too.

Helpful staff, good local community food supermarket, suitable for holiday food stock up if staying in Tauro. Prices for a holiday location supermarket are reasonable. Fresh fruit and veg and instore bread oven. Meats and cheeses are prepacked in fridges. The manageress Vita always does her best to stock what you need. So far she has stocked magazines, tea bags, branston pickle and golden syrup upon request for me. All the staff dress up for fiestas including Christmas elves, typical costume on Canaries day, halloween etc. Staff do their best to communicate in English and nothing is too much trouble. Seen them many times carrying shopping to the car park for elderly shoppers. This supermarket is an example of how a village supermarket should support the customers it serves.
