We’ve already visited some sea worlds before but I have to admit this one was simply the best. Everything was clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed watching the animals and the description which were also in English. Our daughter sat more than 30 minutes under the “Nemo and Dory” aquarium and had so much fun that we were even able to have a coffee in the cafeteria next to it😁
I must admit, I doubt it would worth the money but it definitely worth every Euro!

Absolutely amazing place to visit. The fish look happy and are presented nicely.

Loved the big shark tank and all the smaller ones around spiraled with corals from different regions. They also have the texts in English.

Worth a visit.

Very nice place! Enjoyed the entire visit! It was Saturday morning and it was a bit busy so could not see some of the windows as lots of people were gathered around them. Definitely worth it. Note that if you want to buy a drink there are normally queues at the first bar so if you can wait a bit and go to the second one you will get your order faster.

You know, I was very pleasantly surprised! Normally a tourist trap like this is very hit or miss. Happy to report a hit. On a weekend (admittedly out of peak season), it wasn’t too busy - not too many screaming children and easy to see the displays. But the main draw was the excellent displays and tanks - they put the London Aquarium to shame. Really nice way to spend a few hours if visiting Las Palmas.

Well kept place. Beautiful creatures to observe. Amazing design and stunning aquariums with unbelievable wild life to enjoy.
I couldn't have enough to watch those fishes, sharks, turtles etc it was hard to leave. I could easily have spend my whole day in front of the 36m wide observation glass or in the restaurant with the view.

Absolutely amazing Aquarium!
So many different species, it was a great afternoon.
The two highlights of the activity: the shark tank section, there are chairs where you can sit back and just watch the fish swim by - so relaxing and peaceful and Angela!! She was just great! She told us all about each animal individually, gave us recommendations of where to go to watch rays in the wild, showed us a shark tooth that apparently not everyone gets to see 🤫 and was just really nice in general, really professional and passionate about her job, we definitely learnt a lot with her 👍🏼👍🏼
Definitely recommend it

Fantastic experience! There are a vast amount of different sea species to look at. Some of the aquariums are spectacular! To me you get a lot of value for the money! On a busy day the cafeteria seems undersized.

Nice aquarium, was expected to be a bit bigger but we really enjoyed visiting with our family. There is a big variety of fishes, sharks, turtles etc. There is a car park by the aquarium and you only pay 4 euro for the whole day. We left the car there, and after the aquarium, we walked and crossed the bridge and went into the center by the beach.
We bought tickets at the counter, but if you book online a few days in advance, it's slightly cheaper.

the museum is great. numerous fish and sea creatures can be seen. impressive aquarium window. pleasant cafe inside with a view of the fish. Children could quickly get tired of walking around and looking at so many fish.

The sealife is displayed with care and imagination and is intended to bring visitors as close as possible to the creatures they are trying to protect from extinction in the wild.
Personally, I'm happy to pay the entrance fee if the money is used to raise awareness of the importance of conservation and help stem the destruction of our environment.
The collection of different creatures is just delightful, and the darkened passages add to the sense of awe.
The unique design is delightful, and the highlight has to be when you enter the main viewing room, which literally takes your breath away.

We have been all over the world and the Poema del Mar is the best aquarium we have visited. We spent about 1.5 hours here but it was pretty quiet (Christmas Eve). We would definitely recommend this if you are in GC.

This place is fantastic. It seemed expensive initially at 25 euros but believe me I would pay more. The aquariums are awesome, with great viewing areas and underwater tubes to walk through. The fish and othe aquatic animals were incredible.
I would highly recommend going, you will have a wonderful time.

Came with a coach tour, amazing place - some breathtaking displays - the big tank is just jaw dropping. Facilities were good, and well spaced through the building. Restaurant had a great view of the sharks!

This aquarium stands out among the many I've visited around the world. It's enormously and thoughtfully designed. Easily worth the entry price.

This aquarium was lovely and it was an experience to be in a huge outdoor like setting. There were huge crocodiles and a variety of amphibians. Strongly recommend to visit with family. Some factoids about dinosaurs were also available. 🦕 there's whole nemo tunnel for kids.

the most beautiful aquarium I have ever seen ♥ There is a lot to see and the large aquarium is worth seeing. I sat there for about an hour. the entrance can be bought online and it's great that there was no waiting and there weren't even many people there. at the end there is also a small shop where you can buy anything

It's an amazing place--much more than just an aquarium. This is educational, with extremely well presented display of a wide variety of water life. The small tanks with tiny fish and corals were like works of art, while the huge walk-aroud and walk-through tanks were an awesome experience. I've never seen so many varied sea creatures in one place! There were also videos aimed at raising our consciousness about the devastating effects of plactics and other junk on marine creatures as well as the oceans themselves. Definitely a must-see in Las Palmas.

The way the animals are displayed at Poema del Mar Aquarium is truly remarkable. Each exhibit is thoughtfully designed, allowing you to get up close and personal with a wide variety of marine life. From the graceful movements of the sea turtles to the vibrant colors of the coral reefs, the displays create a captivating and immersive experience. It's a fantastic place for both kids and adults to learn about the wonders of the ocean.

This Aquarium is Fantastic. Such a vast array of species and all thriving and in perfect habitats. Very clean very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and all speak English of you don't speak Spanish. You can spend hours here if you take your time to take it all in

Amazing aquarium. Was unsure on whether to go give the admission price of €27 but it was absolutely worth every penny.

The displays are all great and the large shark tank in particular is breathtaking.

Visited on a weekday but with two cruise ships in, wasn't a problem.

Would definitely recommend.
