Gloria Palace Royal Hotel & Spa

This certainly was a Christmas stay to remember, excellent throughout from the moment of arriving to that on sadly leaving. I found everything was geared for the enjoyment of the guests. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food is first class with so many options in the buffet restaurant at breakfast, lunch and dinner - the Christmas evening meal being so well planned and catered. Rooms are spacious, cleaned daily, with plenty of wardrobe space and a generous balcony overlooking the bay of Amadores with its glorious sunset. My room had a separate shower and bath (Tip bring own hair conditioner, though if you forget there is a "Spar" shop 100 metres away!) Outside the pool areas are again cleaned daily with many sun loungers for you to lie on the provided towels. The pool, sun terrace, mirador bar on the same level as reception also benefits from a variety of lounger beds and seemed to be used almost entirely by adults. The spa area is well used. However what really "makes the hotel"in my opinion, are the staff, no matter their role. All were always so cheerful, friendly and eager to help. We will be back.
Other tip: The inclusive option is value for money (now the bracelet system has been replaced with a card system)

Only catch.. due to rock fall (currently being fixed) entry access to reception was up a steep and cobbled drive.

Just returned from a week’s stay over New year. The hotel is fabulous and very well located. Overlooking the beautiful Amadores beach which is a ten minute walk from the hotel. There is a coastal path to walk along to the port of Puerto Rico. We took taxis easily to the shops/bars of Puerto Rico which is five minutes away. A 15 minute taxi to beautiful Puerto Mogán and just over one hour on a bus to Las Palmas. There is a Spar shop just outside the hotel for all essentials.
The hotel rooms are large and spacious, very clean and with big balconies overlooking the beach. The staff without exception are so hard working and friendly and helpful which is wonderful. The buffet is excellent the best I have experienced, something for everyone. New Year’s Eve was well organised and there was a wonderful buffet and fireworks display at midnight which was a lovely surprise.
The spa is lovely and relaxing, we had wonderful massages and the infinity pool was absolutely amazing and warm enough in January. We found it easy to get loungers on the upper floor by the other pool and they had some nice beds here too which we used most days. The hotel is immaculately clean. The only down side is evening entertainment at the hotel needs to be improved. We found evenings very quiet here and struggled to find a good bar within close distance. Recommend Tipsy Bee in town. We would definitely recommend this hotel it made our holiday! Perfect winter sun break. We hope to return soon!

Kids club was brilliant, the entertainment team was absolutely wonderful. Food was great. Can't say enough good things.

Amazing hotel with view of Playa Amadores and an easy 5-10 min walk to the beach. Service was excellent, personal very kind and helpful and our room was amazing. Infinity pool spectacular, although water temperature a little cold 🥶. But all in all an excellent experience, would come back soon.

Perfect hotel for stay at Playa de Amadores. Amazing view from the balcony. Huge breakfast selection. Free parking. Big sunbathing area. Multiple pools. Several bars in the hotel. Good dinner restaurant.

Lovely clean hotel, good choice of well presented food and super friendly staff, only negative is the entrance which could be difficult for less able bodied people.

This place is awesome. This hotel was the first one to be build at Playa de Amadores and it ignited an avalanche of activity in the area. The place is beautiful, both inside and outside. The pool is fantastic. And it has a great spa. But what we liked most of all is the staff. They make you really feel at home without overdoing it. We highly recommend this place. Go check it out! And don't forget the food... which is awesome as well. 5 star experience. This was our second time here and we will be back for a third...

First of all, I would like to thank the hotel staff for the fantastic atmosphere and service in both the restaurant and snack bars. This was our second stay at this hotel and once again it was a fantastic choice. My son really wanted to come back, mainly because of Patryk. Animations for children can unite children in fun and build relationships. Regardless of the number of children staying in the hotel, the animations for children were always pleasant and engaging. My son remembers baking cookies and painting T-shirts, but thanks to Patryk's involvement he also learned to play bingo. Thank you for a wonderful mini disco adapted to the age and abilities of children. At the same time, great animations for adults, stimulating activity. Thank you very much to Patryk and the All staff for this beautiful time for us. See you soon :)

The hotel has got a beautiful view over the Amadores. Excellent cleaning. Staff of very serviceminded, children friendly and always smiling people.
We had the stay with nice and variated breakfast and it was made even better by a very good vaiter (Manuel).
I had birthday when we were there and the hotel has put Champagne and cake in the room.
We went to the Á la carte restaurant and got the tasting menu🤩 (with wine, well chosen, by the vaiter), which was splendid and served by Philip a very competent and pleasant vaiter who made the evening a special night. We will definitely come back 🙂

Been at this hotel for a week now, I am just about to leave this fantastic hotel for the cold north.
The service was good, everyone was friendly and helpful.

A very nice hotel with super nice, professional staff. Two swimming pools, decks everywhere overlooking the sea. I think all rooms have a sea view balcony, many with a glass wall. The main dining room for breakfast & all-inclusive pkg meals is very very busy but it is well-staffed and waiting at the buffet is always short. Or there is an excellent restaurant with top cuisine dishes, outdoor tables with views of the Amadores beach, a reservation is obligatory. Midday there is a daily free water aerobics course in the main pool (one side facing the sea is infinity), it's best to get to the pool areas as early as possible to find available chaise lounges & umbrella. Free pool towels are at the reception. Next to the main pool is a cafeteria style restaurant/bar with basic fare, next to the upper pool is a bar with snacks. Family friendly with ample children's play areas. All in all a very nice and fairly affordable hotel experience with smiling staff faces.

it's only my second day staying here, but I think the verdict for me is clear.
- great location, closest to Amadores beach among all other hotels around
- very friendly staff
- great room with spacious sea view balcony
- last but not least, omg I love the food. balanced and tasty. I stayed at various all inclusive 4/5 stars hotels in the past, but here the food stands out for me.

Amazing hotel! Big rooms, the best view of Amadores beach, nice food. The only down side is the line you sometimes have to wait for lunch or dinner. There is enough parking spaces... We will be back! <3

Cannot recommend enough!

Reception day and night staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Happy to go above and beyond.
Rooms are big, comfortable and have everything you need.

Maids do an excellent job cleaning and very accommodating with requests. We wanted 2 still waters every day and only had to ask once and received this for full week.

All of the cleaners around the hotel and pool area are first class and not one single one would ignore you when you pass, always a smile or a greeting.

Restaurant and bar staff are fantastic, friendly inviting and accommodating to every request. Remembering you order from day to day is an extra special touch and many have that ability.

Pool staff and lifeguards are great. Patryk was amazing, great fun, entertaining and willing to change things around so everyone can take part. Games and activities were plentiful and varied.

The evening entertainment was very poor and definitely needs some attention, I only enjoyed 2 nights out of the whole week. Maybe a compere to get the night started and crowd involved would be an idea.

A massive thank you to all the staff involved behind the scenes in the kitchen for amazing, fresh and varied food every morning, lunchtime and evening and well presented and also to every staff member that are also behind the scenes who have a very important part in making guests have the best holiday possible.

A beautiful hotel with spectacular views of Amadores Beach. We will definitely be returning soon.

Very nice, clean hotel. Staff very helpful. Food u can find anything what u want. Even if u r vegan is no problem. Location perfect. Rooms with view on the best beach Amadores on all Gran Canria.Near hotel many restaurants and shops.
