Sol Mogan Suites

Great location a walkable distance away from the bustling port enables garden, pool, comfortable accommodation with a breakfast tray brought to the door every morning, and a very warm welcome. The friendliest place on the island.

My first time on the Canary Islands and I have to say I hit the jackpot with Sol Mogán. I was looking for a base for nature and astrophotography and didn't expect I would be able to do my astrophotography from the terrace of my room.
Aside from the that the location was great, 2km from Puerto de Mogán with many nice restaurants, beaches, and ocean views and close to the freeway to get to Maspalomas and the rest of Gran Canaria. And the nearby mountain road GC200 had numerous quaint small villages with restaurants as well as spectacular views which could be enjoyed by car or better yet on bicycle, but it is a long and relatively steep hill that will give you a good workout.
I travelled alone, so I believe I had a smaller room, but still had a double bed, kitchenette and table and chairs, but I had all my meals on the terrace overlooking the pool and garden.
The garden has many fruit trees including mango, papaya and bananas and quite a few local birds in the trees in the mornings in evenings, including a hoopoe (which was the only one I saw on my 5 day trip), as well as some pretty large lizards living among the plants.
The room and bed was well equipped, clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was delivered to the terrace table. The only "complaint" I can come up with was the rather warm synthetic blanket which was too much for me, even with the AC on at night, so I removed the blanket and slept only under the folded duvet cover.
Service was excellent, and it was a pleasure speaking to the owners who delivered the breakfast in the morning and managed the reception.

Breakfast was great.. if you like your coffee grab some from the spar in Puerto Mogan and milk as kettle in the room.

Beautiful place close to Puerto de Mogan. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere with clean appartment. Breakfast is served in front of your appartment, so no need to go in time to a certain place for breakfast.
We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Holiday

Stayed 13th - 20th October 2022. Our 1st time at Sol Mogan Suites and will not be our last.
The Suites are 40 minute walk outside of Puerto de Mogan. We always hire a car at the airport when coming to Gran Canaria.
Our suite was located on the ground floor, quick and easy access to the pool and gardens. It is so relaxing and peaceful here. Rooms are very spacious, enough for 2 people. Breakfast was served each morning on our terrace, it was very healthy and fresh, plenty of fruit which you can pick yourself in the garden.
Guillermo and Jonathan the owners of Sol Mogan Suites are amazing, they would do anything for you to have an amazing stay here. Thank you both.

Stayed at this wonderful location in November 2022 with my wife and 2 grown up children. Hosts made us feel fully relaxed, looked after and very welcome. The site is situated just outside Puerto Mogan but both an easy bus or taxi journey to the many bars and restaurants. Alternately it's a 30-minute gentle amble down to the bay. The apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay, large fridge/freezer and very good cooking facilities. Lots of space and amenities for your use. Breakfast is brought to your room everyday so that you can dine at your leisure. Great spot for you to explore the mountains or the nearby towns and beaches or just laze away your days, fully relaxed by the beautiful gardens and swimming pool.
Fully recommend Sol Mogan suites for the place to stay while you're in Gran Caneria.

If you wanna visit Gran Canaria at a quiet place you should definitely go to Sol Mogan Suites. Situated in a little quite village you find these comfortable adults only appartments. The rooms are clean and exactly like the pictures on their website with a clean bathroom without mold. Breakfast is served at your door in the morning between 8 and 9 am. The only disadvantage is that there are not many parking spots. We got a parking ticket on our last day for not parking in a parking spot.

My stay has been amazing. I am from London and work for myself, so I chose this place as I wanted to be able to relax and have a holiday over Xmas and New Year, but also do a bit of work when needed.

The location is great. It's quiet and surrounded by great mountain views. But it is only a short walk into town and the beach. Which is great for getting your steps in each day! In fact the walk into town gave me time to think each day.

The property is really well laid out, with a proper swimming pool (that you can do lengths in!) and lots of space for guests, who are all allocated their own sun loungers. All socially distanced and plenty of room, in a garden full of fruit trees! Very pretty and peaceful.

The apartment I had was modern and super clean. Not like the usual holiday apartment. Mine had nice, modern furniture, good bedding and a lovely terrace to sit or lie out on. Felt more like home to me, with great wifi, cable TV and everything you could need in the kitchen.

But the staff make this place a 5* rating. They go the extra mile. I had to work on my laptop a couple of days and I mentioned this to the manager of the property. He then brought me a small desk and even a reading light so I could work properly! He also helped me with directions, retrieving a parcel from Las Palmas (which took up a lot of his time and meant making several phone calls because I do not speak Spanish) and lots of other requests. Nothing was too much trouble and I was really grateful for the support as I was travelling on my own.

I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax in a super friendly setting, with some of the friendliest staff I've met. I felt safe here from a COVID perspective, but also very relaxed as it's not a big resort with lots of people coming and going constantly. Perfect if you want some downtime and an escape from the madness back home!

Nice and quiet very clean. Lighting in apartments could be better in kitchen area. Pool is heated and deep enough for proper swimming. William the manager is very helpful and speaks good English.
Lots of walking tracks locally from apartments. Supermarket about 2 miles away, walking is possible via a road and track.

last night of a 14 day holiday staying at Sol Mogan Suites Gran Canaria. what a fab time my husband and I have had staying here. William was there whwn we arrived and settled us in nicely to out suite on the terrace. We loved the personal touch of hamper of food and drinks on arrival and especially his personal touch throughout our holiday. he would ask regularly if everything was good and if we needed anything. the cleaner was excellent and rooms and terrace along with gardens full of fruit which you are allowed to pick, were excellent. The new road networks meant easily access to all other local town. I would defiantly strongly recommend girl g a car if your planning staying a few days as so easy to get about and beautiful beaches and resorts nearby. we were given complimentary bicycles for our fortnight however you can walk into the shopping centre which was arou d 25mins walk. cocktails were amazing at hotel Codial. weather was superb. Thanks William. we will definitely return TO sol Mogan Suites and highly recommend this place to stay.

Peaceful setting 45 mins walk from both Mogan up the hill and coast/beach/harbour and resturants. Accommodation is beautiful. Very spacious and clean and we would recommend it here for anyone who wants to avoid being amongst the hustle and bustle of a resort

Perfect appartment away from the masses. Just outside of Puerto Mogan, you find the coolest place to visit the isle by rental car.
Whether you like to join the swimming pool all Day reading books and relax or you are looking for a good "base-camp" to sport in the mountains.
Take your bicycle out for the hardest climbs Just outside your door, go mountainbiking, hiking or bouldering (at the end of the valley you will find hundreds of boulders)
In the evening you visit Puerto Mogan and enjoy the food and wine .
No kids or party-people allowed 😂

Great self catering apartment. Plenty of space. Newly done and clean. 30 mins walk to restaurants. Snuggled in mountains. Lovely. Nicer inside than the photo shows. . We had the top corner. 5 windows. Light and airy.

Absolutely fantastic! We are here at the moment, on arrival our oven was not working, after notifying staff within a few hours they had fitted a new one... Beautiful apartment and fantastic staff, Highly recommend it here.

Amazing! Chilled out and relaxed. Off the beaten track but we'll worth the stay. Guillermo and the team make you feel like you are in a home away from home! We have booked again for October!

We had a complication with our booking however william the manager took care of it all for us, was exceptionally clean, tidy & well presented, the pool n garden are amazing, the fruit trees are pleasant to look at, to be honest this is probably the best place ive ever stayed

Great adult only accommodation. Friendly service. Pool is great and more than enough sunbeds for the all!
