Henry's Restaurant Bar

Had dinner here on 03 Apr 23. Was by far the best meal both my wife and I had eaten in Puerto Rico. I had the Spanish Prawns and rack of lamb. My wife had the pate (home made) and fillet mignon. The food was fresh, cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. We ordered 2 drinks each which included 2 glasses of house red wine. It was a Cabernet Sauvignon which was smooth and easy to drink. We had a fantastic welcome from the staff and owners who couldn’t do enough for us. The restaurant itself is in a traditional family setting which was a welcome change from the commercial style restaurants we had been visiting. We will be going back here for our last night and we’re only sorry we didn’t find it sooner. If you’re looking for amazing food in a traditional setting with friendly staff then I can highly recommend Henry’s.

Great little hidden gem, go and support a local business away from the rubbish shopping centres you won't be disappointed. The owners are friendly the food is great and you even get a visit from the chef. So nice we went 2 days in a row.

Go to the Henrys! Best experience here, you feel welcome right away. Good food, delicious wine, great, authentic hosts, good prices. Quaint restaurant. We love it and can recommend it to everyone. We are sad that we didn't discover it sooner! Best regards from Herford.:)

Wow, what can we say on this little gem except don't miss the opportunity to visit for food and entertainment. We visited on our last night and we could not have left the premises any happier.

We had a full three course and each and every serving was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. My wife and I both had chateaubriand but cooked to each of our own preference and it was done to perfection.

The added bonus of a singer accompanied with the owner playing saxophone ensured that the evening was fabulous, oh and when the waitress sings a couple on numbers you can't fail to be moved.

We had a drink here and were greeted by the lovely new british owners for a nice chat. The interior is well put together and they kept the spirit of the previous place. Even though we already had dinner reservation we had a look at the menu and it looked good too. Definitely worth going a little off the main track for if you want a drink, a chat or a meal!

This was booked my partner for my birthday and it was fantastic. Do not miss out on this place only a Street beyond the main road by the beach. Cross over the blue pedestrian bridge to find it or get a taxi. Whatever you do, find this little place and enjoy the food and hospitality as we did. Plenty of choices for vegetarians too

We were so glad to have chosen Henry's on it's reopening night. A delicious meal (all home cooked), lovely staff and great atmosphere.

Food was exceptional for the Christmas dinner. The host and staff were very friendly.
David the owner played a tune on the Saxophone creating a lovely ambience around the restaurant 🎷❤.

Really loved the decor very welcoming nice not to have music blaring. The food was excellent had heard portions were good so asked for a smaller portions which was ample for me dessert was homemade omg delicious will we go again of course. If you want somewhere different to the norm this is the place to go. Thankyou for a great evening

Neat place with a cozy atmosphere, and a unique touch. The steaks were marvelous, and staff were attentive and engaged. Owner (?) even played a few songs on a saxophone!

Been here a week and walked past this place every day and thought 'we should call in here' but never did until our last night in Puerto Rico.
David and Linda are fantastic hosts, quality food and fabulous friendly service , highly recommended, dont do what we did and walk by , go in , you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Fantastic food and great atmosphere, the owners are so welcoming, if staying in or around Puerto Rico Gran Canaria it’s a must visit.
