Very nice authentic bar with great food and chill out music. Super nice owner and service. Great seafood, ask for meal of the day. We had Octopus with Potatoes and Mojo, Tomato Salad, Paella, 1,5 L Water, 1 Beer and 2 Coffees for ~40€. Usually pretty empty and local beach. We were lucky because there was a video shooting and lots of interesting people. We highly recommend you to go visit.

I don’t want to say it but this unassuming little place gave us the best eating experience of our holiday. Not expensive but freshly made authentic Canarian cooking. The salad was lovely, sardines the best ever and great service. Please don’t change anything. Thank you.

We really enjoyed the 2 hiurs we spent here eating and drinking by the secret beach. They don't serve food until noon, so we sat and drank cappuccinos and beer until then. Lovely location. Good mussels and french fries.

Great and cheap food, good atmosphere, friendly service. Only 9 euro for this meal.

The juicy squid, the crunchy fries and the fresh mayonnaise are amazing! One of the most favorable dishes on Gran Canaria was the fried squid with fries and salad for 8,50€.
Eatable directly on the beach with take away option!

One of the most beautiful place to stay if you need to spend typical nice moments in the south of GC. I came here many times when I'm in the area. Do not hesitate. You lose your time. :-)

Cute little beachside bar with a small menu of grilled snacks and foods. We had the grilled prawns and calamari - both super fresh and tasty. Recommended for a nice late afternoon chillout with a cold beverage.

I love this bar, they have a best gambas on the island. After the pandemic they raise the prices. The bar is on the beach where are no tourists. I tried fish but nothing special. If you go there eat only Gambas!

Best little bar on the beach ⛱ we've been there every day for a drink and some bits of food. Excellent place to stop to get out the sun for a bit

Friendly waiter, great place! Wonderful view over the beach. Has enough shade to drink a good coffee.

Haven't eaten there yet but it's definitely the best place for a coffee in the whole of the south coast. Another extra is the authentic atmosphere of the area and the bar itself. We always go back with pleasure!

Very relaxed bar near really nice beach. Not crowded with people like other beaches around here. Definitely a place to recommend. Prices are ok, camareros are nice. Come here and enjoy! :)

Very friendly place. Nothing fancy. Food is good, simple and tasty. Good value for money. Not possible to pay with card so have some cash on you, or you have to come back tomorrow to pay the bill. No problemo! We will :)

The best place to watch the sunsets when enjoying a few drinks and great food, including the best paella in Gran Canaria, being looked after my Paco and his friendly staff. It is a must when visiting Gran Canaria.

Pio Pio is a typical local tavern in Canary's island. The owner, Paco, is a brilliant experienced person who likes to taking care about customers. Dishes like paella, grilled shrimps, mussels were tasty and fresh. The location is basic but reminds a familiar table over a sandy beach. The final rhum with honey has been the right closure of a cozy day. Sunset is dramatic.
