Hotel Rural La Concordia

Conveniently situated on the A67 a couple of hours from the ferry port of Santander it is great overnight stop for travellers.
It is a charming and individualistic hotel run by a friendly and efficient family. It is particularly dog friendly which was the reason we first chose it earlier in the year. Breakfast and dinner are available and there is a lovely looking outside patio with bar which we have not yet had a chance to try out. Already planning the date for our next visit.
The village of Monzón de Campos is very old with an interesting history and well worth a look around.

We had a one night stay here on a road trip to southern Spain. Bea was a great host, and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. It's delightfully quirky, spotlessly clean and the beds are really comfy. We were offered breakfast and dinner as an additional option, we had the dinner and really enjoyed it. Bea cooked it on the premises, and we had a good choice.

We booked this hotel on route to Santander Ferry, and we are so pleased we found it.
The hotel is very quirky, very clean room and bathroom with beautiful crisp cotton sheets.
The service was brilliant, Beatrice a wonderful cook. The scrambled eggs with green garlic and prawns were delicious., my chicken and tempura vegetables cooked to perfection.
The little garden is very tranquil.
Outside parking was very easy.
We will return.

Lovely little hotel, very friendly staff. No restaurant in the hotel but there restaurant is right across the road, they will let dogs at your table so long as you ask first and your dog is on a lead and well behaved. The food is excellent and not to expensive. The only gripe is they don't have any safe parking so you have to park on the road outside the hotel, but we had no problems.
Enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

Lovely and original room a bit off the beaten track. No problem with our dog except for his making a spectacle of himself giving kisses to everyone who spoke with him. Beatriz and her staff couldn't have been more forthcoming and the country breakfast was tops.

Loved it, the hotel is querky but spotlessly clean, Bea was a great host and her cooking was very good especially her chicken, location was good for a chilled evening, her outside seating area was very relaxing, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

the welcome was so warm - and there seemed a real good level of thought given to making the hotel different and so good. quirky - honesty-bar (even choc ice-cream) rural location in a small spanish town - but so friendly and welcoming!

A delightful small pension in a lovely little village.Very friendly, helpful staff.Pets are welcome. It is a good location for exploring the area or stopping off for the ferries in northern Spain.

A warm welcome, tasty dinner, comfortable bed and piping hot shower - for me it was the ideal place to stop - 2 hours from Santander and on my way to Portugal - I will be back !

Last time we travelled through Spain to the Ferry we stopped at Ibis in Vallaloldid. Horrible place.
So, we thought we would try something smaller. This place is magical, the eclectic mix of furniture and the way it is displayed and used was an art. There is a small terrace at the back where you can have a drink from the well stocked honesty bar. Then in the morning have breakfast in the sun or inside if you chose.
The price includes breakfast. The Owner Beatriz is a wonderful lady. There are three bars in the village but they do not serve food after 4/5 on Sundays.
The place is easy to find from the motorway and in less than 90 mins to Santander ferry.

Highly recommend hôtel Rural La Concordia

A delightful small, locally run and owned hotel. Room was on the small and basic side but clean and recently decorated. The hotel is located in the middle of this small town directly opposite a really good restaurant owned and run by the same family as the hotel. Though the desk isn't manned 24 hours a day, the lady on reception made us aware of how to contact staff at any time if required. The owner, who welcomed us on arrival, speaks good English.

It was Nice Experience for overall stay at the hotel rural la concordia.and i was stay overthere around 27Days.From (03/06/2019 to 30/06/2019).All members of the Hotel and Restaurant are very kind and Polite and They did tryed Specially made the indian type veg.food for us because we are from india. This place is a must.

Wat een geweldig ontvangst, wat een lieve en innemende host. We waren van maandag 26/02 op zoek naar een slaapgelegenheid op weg van Estoi (Portugal) naar Apeldoorn (Nederland). Bij toeval Hotel Rural La Concordia gevonden. Via een site contact gezocht maar dat liep moeizaam. Toen gebeld en we kregen de perfect Engels sprekende host Beatriz aan de lijn. Ze verwachtte ons gewoon en dat we nog onderweg waren, was geen probleem. Een half uurtje later aangekomen en zeer warm ontvangen. Ook het aanbod om te dineren niet afgeslagen. Dat was heel lekker en nog een heerlijk toetje na. Daarna super geslapen en uitgerust opgestaan. Heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt genuttigd. Met dank aan de host die zeer vriendelijk was (sorry, naam vergeten 🤗). Goed gevuld en met een fijn gevoel onze reis op dinsdag 27/02 vervolgd.
