Bar La Cantina

I’ve never been in better restaurant. The ingredients were fresh and the meals were incredibly delicious. We came here
few times and everything was 10 out of 10. The waiter and waitress were really nice and every time made our visit even better.

First class level of service.Very tasty food that you will remember as an incredible pleasure.
Polite waiters, very fast service. They helped us with our choice and it was amazing in the end. We also received a compliment from the bar.
And all this for the price of a regular cafe in the Netherlands

First night in PR off to a glittering start - Late arrival so headed to closest place - No problem getting seated given the late hour - First class service from entering to leaving - Dishes of the day described deliciously - Absolutely yummy delicious freshly prepared food - Warm rolls - Meaty garlic prawns - A to die for Cannelloni with creamed spinach and Ricotta - Dare I say even better than the best I've tasted in Italy ... better not : ) but it was divine beyond : ) - A litre of their heavenly Cava sangria with the freshest of fruits complimenting all - La Cantina is setting the bar super high and hitting the mark in an exceptional way - Staff are super efficient relaxed and friendly all while being super professional - Kudos to all from front of house to rear of house for a wonderful evening of delicious culinary excellence which is very obviously a labour of love in a transient world : ) TOP!! Truly wonderful restaurant and Thank you for all : ) 20/10

Just back to our hotel and all we talked about on the way there was the meal we had just eaten. The food was stunning. Myself and my partner had the red snapper, and it was amazing. Cooked to perfection. Staff were great and catered for everything. Cannot recommend this place high enough. Hopefully be back on Saturday night..

I cannot rate this place highly enough. The staff are wonderfully polite & welcoming, the service is quick and the food is 10/10. I also spilled some balsamic on my white t-shirt and tried to clean it with my napkin; staff noticed and provided me with a wipe which helped tremendously!!! A small gesture which was unnecessary but was so kind. A lovely environment & clearly popular with locals for very good reason. Thank you all :)

First night in Puerto Rico and a very nice experience. Near to the closing time but no problem getting the food and drinks. Just two of us so no big party. Food tasted very good and we didn't have to pay a lot.

We visited La Cantina tonight, we came by the place without any expectations.
The two of us always have trouble choosing between starters, so we ordered the salmon carpaccio and the beef tartare and we shared the dishes. We enjoyed both of them but especially the tartare, it was so tastefull and the portion was quite large.
As a main course we had the chateau briand with roasted potatoes as a side dish, the meat was extremely tender!
And after that we enjoyed a pistache mousse and coffee as dessert.
Beside the food, the drinks were great and the staff was very friendly. We surely had a nice experience!

Excellent choice for our last night meal. Amazing service and such fantastic staff. Food is so good but you must make sure to leave room for the homemade ice-cream WOW...hazelnut ice-cream is the best we ever tasted.

Absolutely perfect steak, friendly staff and delicious wine.Try it - you will not be sorry!

Fish was tasty and the portion large, interior is cozy and people around seemed to be happy as well. All good for us.

Staying in Puerto Rico, we had a vast selection of restaurants to choose from. We selected this one based on their steak options. We shared a sizzling T bone for 2 on a hot platter and we weren't disappointed. Great food and very friendly staff made the experience a delight.

Really nice meal for the first night in Puerto Rico. Fantastic table service making you feel really welcome and simple but tasty fresh food.
My partner and I shared a T bone steak which came with 3 sauces and a choice of sides including cratin potatoes.
Meal was lovely the mrs and I felt we got value for money.
Would go again and would definitely recommend.

Really lovely atmosphere here with friendly staff and nice food. Not a great selection of vegetarian food however they were accommodating to requests that weren't mentioned on the menu. We went back :)

Amazing little restaurant overlooking Puerto Rico beach. We had the garlic prawn starter to share which was tasty. Chateaubriand to share for the main which was probably one of the best tasting steak I've ate which wasn't Argentinian and my wife had their home made crème brulé. Including 2 beers and water. €75 which we were more than happy to pay. Great service from the friendly staff too. Highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely restaurant with great food and wine. Superfriendly and nice staff. My personal favourite! Part of the El Greco Hotel.

Absolutely fabulous, Service, Staff, menu, food,ambience and only 10mins walk away from Marina. If you want a real restraunt that knows it's business, look no further than Bar La Canita. We enjoyed every minute here on our last night in PR! ,But will be back one day soon.

Great staff! If you like your meat, get it into ya! Fine fish too. Clean with character.

Ate here as a family of 5, great service and delicious food. Would visit again
