If you want the taste of Asturias with an ambience and service to match than this is the place you want to go. Nestled in the mountain range near Covadonga, I will not hesitate to come here again. Thank you Casa Maria!

This was recommended by our host Miguel at Casa Aldea Riosol, and we were grateful for the advice! It’s a brilliantly authentic restaurant with traditional cuisine and HUGE portions. You can tell how good it is because it’s always packed with locals! Do try their favada, local cider, and the Asturian cheese board. But don’t forget, the portions are truly enormous. 😯

Excellent food and service. Gives a taste of Asturias. If I am ever visiting Covadonga again this will definitely be my restaurant of choice.

Excellent place. This is truly where the locals go, not the tourists. If you want authentic Asturian food, phenomenal service, and a good ambience, this is the place.

Great place to have lunch after a day in the mountains. Simple and tasty plates. Especially liked the pork chops. Friendly waiters, who didn't mind that our Spanish was a bit basic :-)

Lovely staff, great food (huge portions!). Breakfast is good, amazing croissants. Highly recommended.

Busy with locals playing cards and drinking local cider. Very chill. By 8:30pm people started arriving for dinner, and the place was full. 👍

Comimos este puente de Mayo casi todos los días allí, con y sin reserva. Comida buenísima y muy abundante, el menú súper rico,los camareros de la mañana y la cocinera encantadores muy atentos. Probad la tortilla de patatas del desayuno...de escándalo!!! Como mi hija sólo tomaba la leche en el desayuno nos dejaban llevar sus galletas (que allí no tenían)

Muy rica la comida y mucha cantidad. Con hambre no te quedas. Tranquilo y la camarera que nos atendió muy amable. Recomendable.

Espectacular!!!!! Pedimos zamburiñas, pulpo, secreto y cachopo , todo buenísimo !!!! Las raciones muy generosas , la camarera muy rápida y simpática. Calidad precio muy buena. Lo recomiendo al 100%

Sencillamente espectacular, tanto que he vuelto al día siguiente ya que no podía irme de Asturias sin volver a probar las fabes con jabal igual que el entrecot, un espectáculo para el paladar, además las raciones son para gigantes y el precio muy pero que muy razonable.

¡Nos ha encantado! Hemos estado tres días por la zona y hemos repetido los tres. Comida de calidad y generosos con las cantidades. Relación calidad precio estupenda. Muy recomendable el cachopo a compartir, con un empanado perfecto. Las milhojas de solomillo y manzana también muy ricas y diferentes. Las camareras encantadoras. También cogimos bocadillos para llevar, ricos y abundantes. Sin duda volveremos cuando estemos por allí.
