Sidrería El Tarteru

A nice place to try some typical dishes of Asturias. The one we liked a lot was escalopines con queso cabrales.

Awesome Sidreria with amazing food, nice Sidra served in the typical Asturian way, and nice prices. Portions are big and tasty so don’t hesitate in indulging with a Cachopo with Cecina and goat cheese... delicious!! (it’s big enough for three). Round up with one of the many “tapas” they have.

Good food, great service, decent prices, busy place. We had cachopa in the style recommended by the waiter and lubina. The cachopa was excellent as well as the fish - fresh & delicious. The staff is kind and friendly. Totally recommend it, enjoy!!

Maybe the best culinary experience of my entire trip. The place has a fairly small menu, which is indeed a very good sign as everything you'll eat there is 100% fresh and cooked at the moment, and the quality of their offering is absolutely stunning. A separate mention goes to the staff (above all the brilliant waiter from Hospitalet :) ), and their incredible cheese cake - trust me on this, it tastes like actual cheese, no sugar no distractions, just tasty yummy cheese :p
A must-try if you're around Ribadesella

Really good. Unfussy, down-to-earth vibe. We arrived just before the kitchen opened in the evening. Fast, friendly service, great food. We got the ensalada de ventresca (bonito), croquetas variadas (particularly liked the morcilla croqueta), and chorizo a la sidra. Everything was fresh. They don't take bookings but it's worth getting there early-ish to get a table.

We were looking for a bar that was showing the world cup and somewhere to eat. This place was spot on. With none of us speaking great Spanish and the staff not speaking much English we had a right good laugh. I ordered tapas for the group, all of which was lovely. The next day we saw both of the staff in town and they both said hello which was lovely.

Order fish, not flesh. Fish is SUPERB. Please order the "chipirones" and the pastel de centollo. We don't recommend el chorizo a la sidra nor the house cachopo

No nonsense Sidreria with supernice food. Relaxed atmosphere with families, couples, locals and tourists digging in on lovely seafood and great ciders.

Awesome sidra. Staff was incredibly friendly and the one gentleman even taught me how to pour the sidra.

Comida espectacular en calidad, precio, raciones generosas. El cachopo muy tierno y buenísimo, las mejores zamburiñas que he comido hasta hoy. Las cebollas rellenas estaban deliciosas...y para finalizar una tarta de quesos asturianos igualmente exquisita. Solo puedo decir que lo recomiendo totalmente y que yo volveré.

Acierto seguro. Trato muy amable, comida muy buena y buena relación calidad/precio. Salimos a 30/pax y comimos pescado del día a la plancha exquisito. Parada indispensable si se va a Ribadesella. 100% recomendable, repetiremos seguro. Recomendamos los bocartes y la lubina a la plancha.
