Camping Cáceres

We spent an evening in a clean and well-equipped room. The campsite is in a quiet location with its own buffet. The lady at the reception is very kind, helpful and speaks English. We would love to come back here another time if we can make it on our next trip.

Great location close to Caceres on the L5 bus from just across the road via a pedestrian bridge. Approximately 15 minutes to town. The bus runs every half an hour, get off opposite the Correos building and return from the bus stop on the same side as the Correos building. At the moment it is €1.10 per person each way.
Campsite is nicely terraced and each pitch has a small hut which has a toilet, hand wash basin and shower, plus table and chairs.
Great walk at the back of the campsite to Caceres, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes at a steady pace with breaks for a drink and the view.

What an awesome experience this was at camping Cáceres!

We stayed here for the Christmas holidays.

Extended our stay a few times duo to the staff that is high class they understand hospitality 100% from the way they awnser the phone, Welcome, the stay and goodbye all excellent.

Facilities are all clean and private.
Restaurant is oke for the price Lovely staff with great drinks next to fireplace.

The campsite is located just outside of the old city centre, shops on campsite and nearby.

Washing machine and dryer.

Swimming pool.

Dog park.

Stayed 1 night on the campsite & what was the best thing about was that each pitch has it's own bathroom.
The service was great.
The site needs a bit of an update.

Stayed for one night at the end of October 23. Very friendly and helpful staff. The individual bathroom on each pitch is very convenient, and the showers have lots of hot water, as each bathroom has its own boiler.

A really good campsite. Lovely multilingual staff. Huge pool if the weather permits. Each pitch has its own shower and toilet. Restaurant on site. Little basic supermarket with delicious bread. Bus service into the town. Very good. ACSI.

Stayed here for 1 night in campervan, all pitches have their own shower room with toilet and sink, table and chairs, super clean. Great large swimming pool with massage jets.

The only campsite in Spain you have a private bathroom at each site. Good sized site, electric and not far from the historic area.

Great campsite. I cannot fault it. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Plots are a good size and each one has its own private bathroom. Swimming pool is huge and serves the local town too but this works well. There is a large well kept garden around the pool. Restaurant serves lovely homemade food. Great value for money too. 36 Euros for a family of 4 for 1 night.

The laundry was only 5 euros.
The pool was lovely and big.
Each site had its own shower/toilet/washing up/hose/table and chairs.
We had shade. But there some without so I would ask for shade.
The supermarket is very basic. So make sure you do a big shop first.

Lovely campsite with very friendly staff in reception and the restaurant. Plots are more than big enough for our two man tent and every plot has drinking water available outside it's own shower/toilet building! Impressive! There was also a picnic table and two chairs for every pitch! We had a lovely meal in the restaurant overlooking the pool area. Sadly we didn't arrive before it had closed for the day but it looked superb in the morning when we had breakfast. There was a football match on at the stadium next door and I asked the barman who was playing. He said Real Madrid, I said Wow, Real Madrid! He fell about laughing and told me two teams I'd never heard of...... Gullible or what?

One of the best-value places we've ever stayed. The receptionist was helpful and spoke great English, and the bungalow was comfortable and fairly well-equipped for the price.

Dinner was a highlight — pretty sure the set menu was around fifteen euros per person, with a range of meals and drinks to choose from. WiFi was good in the room. We appreciated the parking — safely within the camping compound, only a few metres from our room. A nice stop on our journey from Santander down to Morocco.

We stayed one night and it’s a well laid out site with bathroom cabins on each pitch. They look old from outside but that’s only the colour of the weathered wood. Inside cabins are modern with all facilities, very clean. Outside there is a rough stone sink with only cold tap. Not sure why it does not have a hot tap. Electric hook up and long water hose. Pitch is fine stone about 10m long so if you have a long rig with trailer your well onto the adjoining pitch. They may have larger pitches up the back for big campers, don’t know.
WiFi is good. We also used bar and restaurant which is open all year. Very happy with both and staff we spoke to very pleasant. Would I recommend, absolutely and we will be back. All that for €19 a night on ACSI card. Great value.

Individual facilities on each pitch. Variety of shaded and unshaded pitches. Bus outside half hourly to Caceres. Great overnight stop in winter. Restaurant & bar very good, friendly service, tasty food.

All good here for a 3 night motorhome break on way to Portugal...

Nice camping with own toilets and showers. Very quiet. Nice swimming pool and area around it. Also a good stop on your trip to the south in de winter.

This is the best campsite we have ever been to! Private toilets and amazing pool! This is by far the best we have ever been to and we could not recommend enough.

This campsite has the most friendly staff I’ve found in Spain so far. For us this counts for a lot to feel welcomed somewhere. The front desk staff and the staff in the restaurant were just super kind and helpful. The campsite was perfect for our stop over. We even got a private bathroom attached to our pitch! Many thanks xx
