Restaurante Platero y Tú

This place is a jewel, off the beaten track and different to other restaurants. Mara is the boss and she cooks and serves some truly wonderful food. Her tapas are the hit, but also her grilled steaks or lamb cutlets are the best. A good bottle of wine won't make a hole in your purse either. But please reserve before going. Some evenings the terrace is all reserved and then that leaves you with a table inside. Which is also pleasant.

Mara is just wonderful and the food is absolutely gorgeous. You will need a small licor afterwards :)

Just utterly fantastic and would hold it's own among some of the best in the world. The amount of flavour this clever restaurant gets into its flame grilled meats is mind boggling. Could with glorious tapas, good wine and Sangria. Just wow.

Great little typical Canarian restaurant. The food is amaizing (grilled meat mostly). Far from the craziness of Maspalomas, we will definitely go there on our next vacations.
Don't forget to make a reservation, the restaurant is really small and often crowded.

Marra is carrying on the family business without the great Juan Carlos at the helm, the food is just as good as well as the fantastic lamb and crunchy veg, charcoal cooked entrecote meat dishes. Probably the best authentic Canarian food on the Island. Very rustic setting, but there is no better cook than this lady...!

The food is delicious and the service is great. It’s a very charming place! It’s my second time in Gran Canaria and the second time at Platero y Tu. Next time I’ll come back again!

Wir können das Restaurante Platero y Tú nur weiterempfehlen.Super Atmosphäre super Bedienung da wird man satt wenn man großen Hunger hat.😋😋😋Wenn ich Eure Neugier erweckt habe vergesst nicht euer Tisch zu reservieren.

Immer wieder ein "Muss" für uns die Stecks im Eselchen. Einfach ein Traum, mit welcher Ruhe und Verstand hier mit dem Fleisch umgegangen wird Preis Leistung sehr ok (Rinderfilet ca. 400 gr. 21,00 €)

Immer wieder gut. Am Besten sind die Tapas. Fleischqualität ist ausgezeichnet. Über offenen Feuer mit frischen Gemüse. Die Besitzerin ist einmalig. Wir lieben Sie!!!

I N C R E D I B I L E!! Se ci fossero 10 stelle da dare a questo posto le darei. Posto carino e pulito, fuori dalle rotte turistiche, trovato al volo mentre cercavamo un ristorante tipico Canario.. Ma questo é molto meglio. Personale carinissimo, tutte donne con la signora Mara che gestisce il locale e si occupa della griglia. Abbiamo ordinato costine di maiale e dopo averle cotte sotto i nostri occhi ci ha portato 22 costine (eravamo in 2)servite su un letto di verdure meravigliose credo del suo orto. Verdure appena saltate in padella e poi riscaldate sulla griglia. Croccanti e saporite. Serve il tutto in dei braceri che tengono caldo il tutto. Sangria buonissima e pane caldo con salsa all'aglio da aggiungere delle migliori che abbiamo mai provato. Dolci e amari offerti e a volontà per un conto veramente basso. Ci vediamo presto signora Mara!
