If seafood is what you like, Bar El Boya is a must-see when visiting the island. This family business has been running since 1956. A large selection of delicious and fresh dishes. I was there twice to try as many local delicacies as possible. I definitely recommend it😋👍

Best place in the southern gran canaria. One of few authentic restaurants

Finally got around to giving this restaurant a try. So good we returned the following week.
No glitter or glamour....but exceptional food.
It's different to the touristic places but you will love the food.

Great selection of real Spanish/Canarian Tapas. Frequented by many locals, has been going for 70+ years, so they are definitely doing something right. Extremely busy, but the waiters seem to always be able to find a table and service is really quick and attentive.
Not in a touristy area so a little walking involved, but you get to see real Spanish day to day life.

If you are on vacation around this area you cannot miss this place! Fresh fish, simple place, friendly staff...what else? The menú has different options, I wish I could try all of them. Very good price and amazing quality! The fried octopus was amazing! Our host suggest us this place for the quality and the prices!

Well worth a visit and the pricing is quite cheap. We paid 22 EUR for 3 dishes and 2 drinks.

This place is literally FANTASTIC.
Food is delicious and fresh. The service is friendly and professional.
The bill is unbelievably cheap for the food you eat.
The venue is not pretty but is surely simple and clean.
Definitely a place where I would come again

Great fish menu and reasonable price

One of the best places in Gran Canaria to have fresh and cheap sea food dishes. Fried baby squids, whole octopus, paella and the soup are among my favourites.

By far the best seafood on this side of the island. Really simple local fare without much fuss, and definitely the best "canarian mono sauce" we had on the island (both the orange and the green).

Could definitely recommend the grilled calamari, fried octopus, fish cubes, grandmother bread, and the fried baby squids.

This place is very popular amongst locals. They offer daily fresh tapas (mostly fish). Prices are very fair for what is beeing served. Make sure to be there in time, later at night you'll have to get in line for a table

Beautiful place to stop for lunch, food was amazing, it’s not expensive, lovely noisy atmosphere full of locals, staff were great.

Sea food was really great, was recommended by one of the locals, and the food did not disappoint.

Only minus is they place a piece od bread and moyo so you think its free but you need to pay for it even od you won't eat it 😬

Our Canarian friend told us about this place! Very nice place for dinner, it’s not a restaurant for sure, but it didn’t bother us at all. We had great time here and ordered a lot! Much better than touristic fancy restaurants.

A no fuss eatery serving great seafood at very reasonable prices. Come here for an authentic experience filled with the locals.

The specialty dishes are deep fried octopus in an ever do light batter, gofio (a soup made out of corn flour), and grilled cuttlefish.

Note: while you are by the sea, you have industrial views of a cement factory by the port... But the food is worth it.

This place is very famous for food there is ofcourse quite a variety of different options mainly seafood, but a dish which everyone prefers & enjoys is Paella ( a rice n prawns) which myself with a few family n friends had been having very often is very delicious property cooked. Besides there is ample space parking your vehicle.

Full of locals which is always a good sign. Food was delicious. Service was great.
