Blue Sardine Altea Hostal

I recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone who wants to be in a beautiful place. New renovation. Perfect cleanliness. Bed of the highest class. The view from the window is fantastic. Everything about this hotel is perfect.

Everything about this place was perfect for us for a short-stay of 3 nights. We loved the cute, retro style room which was clean, comfortable and quiet - a great little bolt hole.
The service was exceptional from the call to make the reservation, when we arrived and checked out the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful - I think the ladies name was Monica.
Great location just opposite the seafront and next to the old town. The only negative I’d say is that some of the rooms give onto the main road so maybe some traffic noise.
Overall a great place, great value for money and super service.
We love Altea, our second visit, but we will definitely stay again at Blue Sardine.

One of the best accommodations my guest and I have ever stayed at. Great location and very clean. Short walk to the beach and the old-town. Our room had two balconies that were lovely. It also included all the utilizes that could be needed during our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

What a fabulous experience staying at the Blue Sardine. Our room was one of the best we have ever stayed at with original features, boutique styling and a very large roof top balcony and sun patio area. The views from our sun terrace were of the sea, mountains and old town. Each way we looked there was another marvellous view!
Angelica and the team at Blue Sardine could not have been more helpful, what lovely people. The room was spotless and refreshed daily. The Team even left a very special personal gift and message for a birthday we celebrated during the holiday.
The Blue Sardine is in a great location with easy access to the promenade, beaches, sea view restaurants and the amazing old town with its church, plaza and stylish restaurants only streets away.
We had a great stay made even more special and memorable by meeting Angelica and the team. We will return.

Blue Sardine Altea is an amazing place. It is perfectly located. The rooms are very cosy, clean and welcoming. The building is an old fisherman place restored with taste and respect for the site. Our host made everything to make us happy. For a special occasion she offered a bottle of delicious local wine. The beach is just one minute walk from the hotel. And it is also very centrt. I certainly recommend. Overall I would advise to go in Altea in September or October when the temperatures are milder and when there are fewer tourists… but the experience was really nice

It was an all-time favorite accommodation for me. Beautifully designed rooms with so much thought and consideration. Located just across the street from the beach. Genuine and nice staff. I will come back again

The BEST place to stay when in Altea!! It is a great location close to the beach and old town:) the staff is AMAZING because of their kind smiles and caring conversations :) the bed was super comfortable and enough towels and little necessities for a small trip:)

Amazing location, the room was very big and clean and had everything that you needed. The staff were very attentive and very welcoming. The self check in is also very nice as you can come and go as you please. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Booked it for 2 days and ending up staying for a week .Good price.great location for the beach and for the old town.rooms all with top quality beds.very clean and very friendly from the cleaners to the owners .100% I would recommend. Thanks scott and cristina from the canary islands

Most excelent place we are visited with my wife!!! Extremly clean and tide, service is Godges. Exciting view from terace, room is equiped with everything we need. We have got so warm welcome and looking forward to visit this place again and again. Hotel is nearby center and all places to eat or to look are in not more than 5-10 min to walk, beach is accross the street. Recomend 1000%!!!

We only stayed for one night, but the Blue Sardine is certainly worth staying at. Although it is situated on the busy N332 it is a very quiet hostel. The room was certainly amazing for the quirky high class finish and the bed ,bed linen and towels were the best we have encountered. We will definitely return.

We stayed here in March 2022, the room was gorgeous, clean very spacious and 2 lovely balconies. Not sure if all the rooms are like this, but was super happy when we arrived. Had everything for cooking also and tea + coffee, wine etc. Lovely service from the host also!

Clean, new, cozy & the location is great! Next to the sea and in the middle of the old city centre. 10/10 would recommend!

We stayed in the top room, 2 balconies and a small kitchen. Room was very tastefully decorated, lovely en-suite shower room.
Coffee in the mornings on the front balcony, afternoon drinks on the rear balcony. Everything was very clean, staff were amazing. The self check in machine in the small foyer is efficient and an interesting new development. It operates in several languages, reads your passport (outside EU) and takes your bank card details. Once confirmed, you get your room keys and your receipt. Location is good, about 100m from the promenade. Plenty of shops within walking distance to get your own food and drinks to prepare in the well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend this place.

This place is perfect. Across the street from the beach, clean rooms and everyone at the hotel is super friendly. This should be your first choice when visiting Altea

Wonderful and modern room, nicely decorated. The service was amazing. This is a new hotel and the owners really put a lot of love and effort in it. Good location, 50m from the beach and restaurants. Can't go wrong here.

You can park for free just 200m from the hotel, next to the train station.

We had a very positive vibe in this little adorable boutique hostal. Monica , the lady in charge of maintenance was charming. Ms. Maria, also who is in charge of this hotel also was extremely helpful for helping us so we were at ease during our stay.
I highly recommended ! 👌

Clean modern room.
With so many restaurants close by there really is no need to have a hotel with a restaurant/bar.

We love stayed here! The room was very comfortable, well decorated, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
