Wow - this place was amazing! The nicest place we've stayed at on the Camino de Santiago (60 days so far, and I'm sure it will remain so until the end). The restaurant was quite good - and had an excellent selection of Northern Spanish wines... also, the little store off of the courtyard downstairs (which is also reception) was awesome! So many cute things - edible and otherwise.

We had lunch here and it’s been the best lunch on the Camino so far. We had the chickpea salad and the stuffed eggplant. Thank you for the great food and service!!!!

Excellent dishes & great service. The trout salad and cured beef in particular were real tasty. Dinning was al fresco style with good mix of clientele including pilgrims. Perfect for a relaxing meal.

Amazing place to taste food from the region of Bierzo. Welcoming staff and excellent atmosphere. You also have a shop where you can buy local specialties. For the desert try “tarta de castañas” : delicious and original!!!

Beautiful place. Just had lunch and the best icecream for a stop during the Camino. Whoever likes this place will love to come to stay at Casa SanAndo!

We had a very nice and relaxed lunch here. The menu was varied with something for everyone and the service was very friendly and efficient.
Our lamb cutlettes were grilled to perfection and the meat was very tasty and not greasy at all and the chips! The chips were beautifully crisp on the outside and delightfully fluffy on the inside.

The establishment itself is very beautiful and clean and the bar area, especially, is very popular with lots of greenery. It was a cool oasis on a very hot day.

If you are passing through, whether you are a Pilgrim or on a driving holiday, stop over and have a meal or stay over in the hotel.

You won't be disappointed.

Spectacular.
The biggest fact to highlight is the proximity and quality of the staff, they really make you comfy and at home.
The scenario is the best version of a local restaurant, amazing food (we tried Botillo, cecina, baked peppers, mixed salad, ribs and the super surprising house dessert: lemon cream with chestnuts in syrup, do not miss this last one)
I rate 5/5

I'm on the Camino de Santiago. Occasionally I need a private room. As I stumbled into town, this was an attractive place and booked a room with a bathtub! Wonderful bar/restaurant that is open it seems all the time during the day. They close the restaurant at 10pm.

Amazing place, huge and modern, well distributed with lots of spaces. Booking table is not a must but you'd like to be sure you have a spot.

The food is amazing and despite the restaurant is known bc the meat meals they have good vegetarian dishes like goat cheese, veggies grilled, etc.

Might seems price for peregrines but the place and food is worthy.

Excellent restaurant located on the edge of Cacabelos. We had an assortment of appetizers including cheese, cecina, ham, cod empanada, and roasted pimientos. The main dish was lamb, with lettuce salad and fries, perfectly cooked and flavorful. Our dessert, lime cream with chestnuts, was a perfect end.
There is an adjacent store that features local wines, preserves, and other merchandise.
Hope we can visit again

Outstanding. Spent 5 hours relaxing at the end of their summer restaurant in their very comfortable lounging area. Everything was perfect. The scenery, the music, the soft and precise bursts of mist released every 15 minutes to cool the temperature, the wide selection of drinks and food in their menus!!
One of my most enjoyable afternoons in the Camino.
And they even provide power outlets to recharge mobiles beside the lounging area. A must for my teenage daughter!

Beautiful old Coaching Inn that has been very tastefully restored.
It all centres around a central courtyard, off which is the reception inside a small shop selling local products and wine. There is a bar area serving drinks, snacks and light meals. Didn`t use this but the prices looked very reasonable
There is also an additional restaurant serving a la carte and set menus
The bedrooms are furnished in style with the renovation and are very comfortable with ensuite facilities

I walked the Camino in the summertime and felt dissy. Then i came to the shop next to the restaurant and for free they just gave me food and so....they told it was a pilgrim tradition to help like this.
It was a really cosy place. I will for sure come back. I never tried the restaurant but i will for sure next time. Best regards from Martin from Denmark
