Cofiño

Excellent product and fair price.
We sat in the inside terrace and had a wonderful lunch. We had some smoked sardines with ceviche, which were really good, and then some cocido montañes and meatballs, plus a lovely cheescake.
They have a good selection of wines and whiskies.

The only thing that could be improved is the kindness of the staff, if they could smile every now and then would make the experience more pleasant. But worth a visit anyways.

We visited restaurant Cofiño in August 2021 and the experience was just AMAZING. From service to food quality I have not more to say than positive things.
We ordered Cocido Montañés, Tomatoe and Cheese salad, Chuletón, meatballs, cheesecake and rice pudding. Every dish was better than the previous one.
This place is a must if you visit Cantabria!

We found this place by accident, when we were riding our motorcycles from Bilbao to Potes, on May 23, 2019. We had stopped for fuel and asked the gentleman at the station where we could get some lunch. He suggested Cofino. What a find! The food, ambiance and price was amazing. I've recommended it to several other riders that watch my YouTube channel Bad Monkey Touring.

Excellent homemade Catabrian cuisine, specially the meatballs and rice pudding. We'll come back soon.

Went here for lunch with family and what a treat it was! If I lived in the area I would be there all the time! There is a wonderfully welcoming and cosy ambient as soon as you enter. You can just feel that everyone else is very content to be there too. A cosy front bar, nicely decorated and laid out dining room and outdoor seating too. The food we ate was really good and the staff were attentive, even when very busy, and so nice to chat to. They really added to the warmth of the place. They deserve every good review they get. Keep up the great work there and we will most definitely be back!

Excellent food at very competitive price
Nice variety of local dishes. Stew is awesome, as well as anchovies from Cantabric sea. The atmosphere is very warm. You'll love to spend some time here.

Restaurante con comida de muy buena calidad. Fuimos un día sin reserva y fue imposible comer. Hemos repetido, pero esta vez con reserva y todo perfecto, así que, recomiendo reservar con antelación. Todo lo que pedimos estaba riquísimo, especialmente el tomate con queso y el chuletón. Sin duda repetiré.

Fuimos recomendado por un amigo, y fue un acierto.
La terraza a la que le denominan ellos así, está cubierta, aunque no cerrada del todo, tienen estufas de calor y no se está mal.

Comimos un cocido montañés, buenísimo, chorizo, morcillas, y tocino aparte.
(Decir que chorizo picaba un poquito, y una de las morcillas, potente en sabor)

Pasamos al segundo, unas albóndigas del tamaño de hulk, y de las que se desayuna Thor. Súper buenas, eso si pedir pan para sumergirlo en su salsa, también buenísima.
Todo esto amenizado con un buen vino, Avan.

Si os queda hueco la carta de postres caseros suculenta, nosotros tomamos el arroz con leche.

Volveremos seguramente.

Estábamos buscando un sitio para probar el cocido montañes, y encontramos el sitio perfecto. Es un restaurante que está en un pueblecito muy bonito, el cocido una gozada. Las albóndigas son enormes y la verdad es que con dos platillos te quedas bastante bien.

Lo vimos publicitado y de dimos que en el próximo viaje iríamos a comer. Magnífica decision, amabilidad y unos platos que te dejarán más que satisfecho, un placer!!!!
