Restaurante Los Molinos (Liébana)

The ambiance service and food are top!! We had the roasted lamb and veal was tasty. It is a truly hidden gem.

One of the highlights of our trip to the Picos. Really nice structure, stone house, very pleasant rustic atmosphere. Family run business, lovely old lady taking orders. The food was amazing, we had a fresh salad with bonito and tomatoes, then I'd been looking for fabada and ordered a similar version with veg and it was delicious. It was also a huge portion and I took the leftovers with me on a hike the next day. The lamb asado came with homemade chips and was really good. For dessert we had a nice cheesecake, and all accompanied by a pleasant Rioja. Easily the best meal of the whole trip!

Homemade traditional food. Near a picturesque waterfall and in an old mill. Portions are very generous.

A hidden little gem, looks just like a little private house from outside but you walk in to a little bar that smells smokey, we aked the lady about food and she pointed down a passage when we opened the door it was the most cosy, traditional, big room with a lovely balcony overlooking the river. The menu was only Spanish but with Google translate we managed to order the local stew with bread. The stew was wonderful and the 2 pieces of bread were like half a loaf !!! If you are in the area pop in its a great experience .

Excellent food and service. one got the Fillet of Beef another got the fillet of lamb and others got the cocido completo (meat, potato & chickpea stew). It was all very delicious.
We came at a very busy time, but got seated quickly and the one waitress who took care of everyone, although very busy, got and our orders and food all delivered timely and accurately. It was amazing as she is an older lady and an owner. She told us she just can't find any help since very few are willing to work among the young people in Spain. She said they all want a free ride from the government.

Comida deliciosa! A little gem - not in any of the little towns between Potes and Fuente Dé, so you need to keep an eye out for it. We had two meals there and tried both of the local specialties, the Cocida Liebanago and the Cocida Montañera. Both were by far the best versions we had of these dishes in the entire week. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Spectacular place, incredible homemade food and very nice service, definitively one of the best places to eat in the valley, do not doubt to stop for a break if you have the chance, specially if you have been hiking. Do not forget the rice pudding and the "cocido".

The ladies who run it are a bit fussy but the food is perfect. The cocido is the best I tried in the area. Excellent overall.

Fuimos a comer de improviso a este sitio y fue un acierto.
Éramos 4 comensales y pedimos dos cocidos; uno montañés y otro liebaniego.
Ambos platos estaban exquisitos, lo acompañamos de una botella de sidra y pan casero. De postre pedimos la tarta de queso y el canónigo (el mejor que hemos probado)
Es una experiencia súper recomendable ya que los dueños son encantadores

Es maravilloso este sitio.
Ya hemos estado tres veces y las tres han sido espectaculares.
Se come super bien y es un sitio tradicional llevado por una señora muy amable y muy apañada.
Hemos pedido siempre que hemos ido el cocido lebaniego pero los demás plantos que hemos podido ver tienen muy buena pinta. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.

INCREÍBLE!! no sabíamos donde comer bajando de Fuente D y encontramos este sitio por muchísima casualidad, esta escondido así que hay que prestar atención al ir. Pero ha merecido la pena, es muy bonito, la señora que nos atendió muy amable y simpática. Hemos pedido un cocido lebaniego y un cocido montañés y ambos la verdad que deliciosos, es mucha cantidad y a bajo precio. Todos los postres son caseros y muy ricos. Poco que añadir más, bueno solo aceptan pagos en efectivo.

Un sitio espectacular, muy recomendable. Comimos dos adultos y un niño y pedimos una sopa de cocido, un cocido lebaniego, un plato combinado de huevos, picadillo y jamón, de postre una tarta de queso y un pudding de orujo. Todo estaba riquísimo, el pan muy bueno también, nuestro hijo mojaba el pan en el colacao y se le comía. El plato combinado nos lo pusieron para llevar ya que estábamos muy llenos. El trato excelente, la mujer que nos atendió nos abrió la terraza para que saliéramos a disfrutar de las espectaculares vistas. Pago en efectivo.

Simplemente increíble, la comida exquisita, el lugar inmejorable, el servicio inmediato, la mujer siempre atenta y amable, la guinda sobre el pastel es el precio, si estáis por la zona no podéis perderos este lugar.

Lugar increíble, lo encontramos de casualidad y paramos, todo exquisito, la amabilidad y el trato de 10, volveremos sin duda nos quedamos con ganas de probar más… pero después del cocido lebaniego
( sin palabras de lo rico q estaba) y el postre (🍨 canónigo) increíble, no podíamos más, Asiq nos queda volver pronto. Calidad-precio insuperable
