Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN)

This airport impressed me with its cleanliness, easy navigation, and great selection of shops and restaurants. The outdoor area was a nice touch, and the kids' areas made traveling with children much easier. The coffee machines were a convenient perk, and the personnel were friendly and helpful. Overall, a highly recommended airport for its amenities and excellent service.

It is a beautiful Airport with relatively few persons. Navigation is straightforward, although you might have to walk long distances to find your terminal. The restrooms are well-cleaned, and everything else seemed good.

Beautiful, clean and tidy, with clear instructions and fast customs. There are many shops and food courts. The transportation to and from the city is convenient and fast. There are subways, buses, and buses to choose from, or you can directly buy a package, and you can go directly to Barcelona in 40 minutes. In the urban area, there are also transportation services in the early morning. It is a great airport✈

Efficient airport! Just lacking a few places to eat by the A-gates that are furthest away! Other than that it is a really modern and nice airport which delivers luggage quickly!

Very well organized, although there were a lot of people, but all the checks were done without much delay. Access to and from the airport is very well organized, taxi or public transport - all the same!

This is an amazing airport, the staff/employees are friendly and helpful. There are a lot of cool stores and cafes, and I’d say it’s pretty clean for a airport. There are a lot of signs to help people for example where to go and other stuff. The food is really good which I was surprised by. Overall it’s a really great airport!

First time to any Airport in Spain, which is Barcelona as layover for about 6 hour. Long walk from the gate to the lounge, but actually can navigate so easily. All the signs and instructions are kind straight forward.

Beautiful new airport. The airport is so bright. Everything very clean well organized. Screening was slow because the person scanning also personally checks the bags if something is found. Allow 2 hours to be safe. Lots
Of food options. Veiling uses no employees. It’s all self check including your bags.

I had departure flight from the airport. The entire process was smooth. The airport terminal is well maintained and well connected with public transit.

The security line was not crowded. If you have priority access, there is separate queue area. There are many shops inside the airport and also food courts.

You may have long walk to gate so make sure to check gate location.

Security check in was very fast when I was there. It took me exactly 15 minutes to get to my gate after I have disembarked the train, including walking the train station/airport connection, getting through security and walking to my gate. I am a fast walker but yeah, I find the airport efficient in that manner.

I didn't had any problems with the airport staff. There are water fountains that you can drink and fill your water bottle after you pass the security.

There was a line of planes waiting to take off. It took a not too long but a considerable while to take off after the boarding was completed but it wasn't too bad.

This airport is huge. At the same time - clean and maintained.

Wi-fi is free and reliable.

Great airport, one of my favourites I've been to if not the best. Great amenities, great transport links, clean, lovely terrace area for some fresh air, tonnes of food choices. Great waiting areas with lots of seating.

Great airport, very simple organized, good public connection to the city

I like this airport. Ery quick chek in and check out. Immigration process was very quick it took me only 15 mins to get the entrance OK.

The staff are freindly and helpfull very welcoming.
A little delay in taking the laggages but still ok 👍🏻

The closest airport for wonderful Barcelona. Connections to the city are a little confused on Google Maps. Maps has you take the train and then walk to change for the Metro.

Turns out the Metro goes to both terminals, though signs for the Metro don't appear until you get to Terminal 1.

At terminal 1, there's a long walkway to the train station and a tiny sign that indicates the Metro. It took a protracted conversation with the helpful train staff to understand that I could take the metro directly to the city, and sadly they talked themselves out of a customer.

Note to Facilities Manager: the baggage claim at Terminal 2 is lovely and well organized, then you get to the public space outside, and the first impression is the broken tiles in the Arrivals lounge. I felt I was in a banana republic at that point, though it's been pretty cool since then. Hope it doesn't take another grant from the EU to get this fixed!

Everything is perfectly organized, clean, registration and check-in are very fast. Easy to get to by Renfe or metro. Food court is not very good, mostly overpriced fast food

Best airport in Europe the Aena app is also very useful, it best in terms of facilities charging stations , food outlets , fast security, assist to elderly and disabled and a wide open terrace area for smokers.Easy connectivity to the city is one of the plus point aerobus will transfer to and from city centre, it is affordable,frequent
and fast.

(April 2023) Not as big as Doha Airport, but just as crowded. Good thing we had an early flight so it wasn't as busy. Staff were very helpful, especially since we were travelling with a PWD. Like in Doha, they provided us with a wheelchair and also shuttled us to the next gate for our connecting flight. Very convenient!
