Restaurante Mi Casa Alicante

Mi Casa is one of the most renowned restaurants for paella-style rices in Alicante. They're perfectly cooked and flavorful. We (a group of eight) tried both the seafood rice and the one with ribs, ham and chickpeas. While both were great, we preferred the seafood rice, the more traditional of the two.

I also like the simplicity of the menu: for €33 per person, you get a variety of starters (selected by the restaurant), a rice of your choice, bread, dessert, coffee and digestive. The quantities are abundant; we walked out with two portions' worth of leftover rice. Reservations are a must.

Hungry and passing by we popped in. Friendly staff managed to fit us in as typically I believe one needs to reserve a table. Fabulously relaxed atmosphere the decor has you searching to see what other memorabilia might be tucked away or hanging somewhere. Food quality excellent really nice justifies the price. Certainly take friends there.

This restaurant was recommended to us best paella and we had a great lunch. It is a set menu and the food just keeps coming. Great Rabbit and snail paella washed down with beer which also is free flowing and topped up in jugs. It was a rare rainy day so we sat inside, the decor is cosy and there was a really buzzy atmosphere.

I will give 5 stars, the price is nice compare to amount of food you get. And food itself if very tasty. Friendly stuff!!

A classic! Best when enjoyed with a groupe or family. Packed on weekends so make sure to have a reservation. The food quality is great and the price is fair. Starters are all you can eat and very often they have a "free bottle of wine" discount. Who doesn't like good free wine!?
