Taberna el Botero

Fantastic little Taberna tucked away in medieval building. We liked it so much we came back the next day for drinks. Such interesting food with elevated tapas and surprising flavors. We had the tasting menu and loved every dish. Fantastic cocktail and spirits selection served by talented mixologists, service was friendly and the staff was so knowledgeable and passionate about the food served. Would 100% recommend

Stopped for tapas and drinks since the restaurant was full (you need a reservation).
We had the mixed croquettes and a lemon pie, both excellent and surprisingly good! Presentation and service both very nice!

This place is amazing! The service was great, the food was a complete experience. If you go, I recommend the tuna tartar and the cheesecake (THE cheesecake)

Gourmet cuisine combines Spanish motives and its unique style. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and convenient location. I would give the restaurant a Michelin star. Also, the price is reasonable.

I have eaten in many restaurants but here the surprise is unbelievable.

We had just had two truly outstanding foodie experiences in Madrid. Some of our group was wondering if we should in fact even visit Toledo but we hoped on the train and went. We knew Botero was not going to live up to our recent experiences BUT boy where we wrong. What a fantastic restaurant. The staff was some of the nicest people we have meet on our extended trip. The atmosphere was outstanding and the food was terrific. Everyone must get the 6 sample croquettes. I would go back to Toledo just for this one dish. Other dishes were fantastic also - we had some sort of charcoal cod with aioli dish and it looked "interesting" when it was placed on our table and it was also fantastic. We tried several things and loved most of them.

At Taberna el Botero i felt really nice. We arrived a bit early and we enjoyed a beer next to the bar(in the lobby 😃) and the we went up for some food. We appreciated the service of the staff, we tasted begor main course some types of bread with olive oil and salt for which we received information; that was really good. For food, we ate the tenderloin which was amazing, medium rare correctly prepared, very good quality of the meet, excellent. Another appreaciated plate was the country chicken with rice and some salsa, very flavoured and tasty. The atmosphere was not at the same level with the food and service, but we enjoyed alot the food and the service.

This place is outstanding! The food is absolutely delicious, the ambiance is cozy, the service is courteous. I enjoyed that this restaurant offers traditional and authentic dishes, which, at the same time, are unique, making the food stand out. 100% recommend.

Amazing experience here! Get a reservation at the restaurant or grab a seat in the bar and watch the show - these guys are mixing up some great cocktails…little bit of Soho in España. The kitchen opens at 21:00 so make sure you hang and get some tapas - try the croquettes plate! Nicely done!

Loved eating here! I had the seabass. Upstairs is charming and cozy, you can also get tapas downstairs. The staff were very helpful. Celiacs can find gluten free things here.

Stop by Taberna el Botero if you want some excellent cocktails at a reasonable price. Bar tenders know what they are doing and have a great cocktail list. Did not try their food, but highly recommend the cocktail bar.

The barman at Eugenia de Montijo Hotel recommended this restaurant, and we were so grateful!!! Lovely local place, had pre dinner drinks downstairs, then dinner upstairs in the lovely old fashioned room. Food was delicious and super yummy!!! Service was excellent. So glad found this place found us.Definitely worth going. 10 out 10!!!

Fantastic experience and the best sangria in Spain

This restaurant is a must in toledo. Service was very attentive, the food was extremely creative and very tasty and the place is super cozy. I would go back!

The tasting menu (70e for two) is excellent! Tried chicken cod deer meat pork various vegetables with full range of flavors! Dessert “bad luck” is the best! The service is top as well!

Once or twice a year I'm lucky enough to dine at an outstanding restaurant, and Taberna el Botero in Toledo is one of them.

Had the crispy pig ear tacos! Wow, it was wonderful! Limited beer and wine options. A very popular tavern.

We loved the croquettas and the pulpo. Servings are quite big and can be shared. However, the tables are too small 😅 nice ambiance and staff as well.

It can take time to decide where to grab a bite, so definitely visit Sucursal if you can. It’s a place where locals go. We nabbed a spot near the entrance by the bar. We had Empanadillas de aji de gallina and a sándwich with Tigre de pan and one other thing. I wish we stayed long enough in Toledo to go to dinner.
