Cruzando el puente colgante de Villadepalos se sigue un rato la Ruta de los puentes colgantes hasta este punto, en el que nos desviaremos para subir a El Castrelín y seguir hasta Peón. El inicio es un camino junto a un arroyo con muchas pequeñas cascadas. Luego se sube un tramo de escobas hasta llegar a la pista del Castro. Hasta Peón se va por una vista más ancha y fácil de andar y además ya acaba la subida.
