Estadio Municipal Butarque

Muy humilde y bonito estadio en medio del pueblo de leganès. It has a really easy access and super low prices for food and water. The vibe will charm you. It was an honor to be in one of the three wins out of 18 matches that the team has had until now and deliver a great game against Celta de Vigo. Iago Aspas is so good but mischievous, saw my fellow paisanos Javier el Vasco Aguirre winning his first game and Nestor Araujo scoring a header. Loved it!

History and characteristics

The name of the stadium comes from Our Lady of Butarque,the patron saint of Leganés. The stadium was built between 1997 and 1998 with the aim to replace the old field in the city, the Estadio Luis Rodríguez de Miguel. Butarque was inaugurated on 14 February 1998, with a game between Leganés and Xerez.

With an original capacity of 8,138, after the promotion of Leganés to La Liga, Butarque was expanded to 10,954 seats, divided into four sectors.

Butarque, apart from football matches, has hosted musical concerts and festivals like Festimad.

On 29 April 2016, the mayor of Leganés suggested an expansion of Butarque to 12,000 seats and also the improvement of access to the stadium.

After adding a new row in August 2017, finally the stadium had a capacity for 11,454 spectators.

Grande Butarque

Buen estadio, buenos aficionados, instalaciones amplias y ambiente festivo y deportivo. Las zonas de parking son amplias y hay donde elegir. En este caso el partido era nocturno, la visibilidad fue muy buena y tras la conclusión, la salida se hizo rápido y sin contratiempos. Todo perfecto.

Me encantó, unas instalaciones bastante funcionales y cómodas.
No me gustan los mega estadios, así que este es muy a mi gusto, y salvo por algunas cosas como luces encendidas y fallos en la pantalla, un recinto deportivo muy atractivo.

Estadio pequeño, bonito. Se disfruta un juego de futbol sin problemas.

Gran estadio, buena gente, se puede aparcar bien en el centro comercial de al lado.

Un campo de fútbol muy bien enfocado para tener y vibrar con l@s jugader@s por su cercanía
