Right option to get a real taste of local food and ambient. They have the typical plates that one should try in Toledo as quail and partridge, as well as manchego cheese.
Prices are relatively low, many locals eat there.
The place is very good located next to one of the most visited historical places of the ancient city. At the same time it's quiet and comfortable.
It is right in front of the Cervantes statue and the House of Culture that offers different exhibits.

I’ve lived in Toledo for 4 months and have not found a more authentic and atmospheric restaurant / tapas bar. The waiters are typical spanish but in a very familiar way. Their food selection is great and delicious, as well as their beer and wine - all that for a comparably low and fair price!

Highly recommend, as they also show the best football matches.

Great place that offers good local food at a really decent price (10 euros for the "menu del dia" and 4 euros for a large "bocadillo").

Amazing food! Get the quail (codorniz), deer (ciervo), paella, bacalao (cod)! My husband says it's the best food so far and we've been in Spain for a few days!

Delicious local dishes, good variety on the menu of the day, very reasonably priced. Good portion sizes, quick service, drinks included. What more do you want? Would recommend. Seems to be less touristy too, a favourite of the locals.

Superb little local place, with very efficient and friendly service. Their menu del dia is 12€ or a premium one at 15€ but at the basic price of 12€, you get a very good selection of dishes already.

Standout dishes are the gazpacho Andaluz, guisante con jamon (peas with pieces of ham), carcamusa (local Toledo stew, tomato-based with pork) and ciervo estofado (deer stew).

The menu del dia includes a drink as well. Go early as the place is often packed with locals.

We came to visit Toledo and wanted a traditional place with traditional food. It was delicious, plates were fast and you can feel this is homemade cuisine. I do recommend.

Great food! We had the daily menu and everything was just great! Ciervo estofado is highly recommended and for dessert arroz con leche is delicious. Also the staff is very friendly.

Had a very good experience here having excellent cafe con leche and croissant. Wish I had found this popular humble local place early enough to have lunch or dinner there. Very good and efficient service.

Very good local bar/restaurant. Tapas (the traditional choice) were well cooked, and quantity was quite good for the price. The menu is also a very good quality/price ratio.
