Small restaurant, almost with a living room feel, on the first floor. Great simple local food! We had the three course menu of the day with fish for starters and main, and a dessert, plus a bottle of wine for under 15 EUR.

Bright, cheerful and homey Traditional Basque restaurant in the old town..Great value and wide selection of non-tapas style food. The gambas a la plancha were amazing and the duck confit outstanding. Service is brusque but friendly and efficient. Definitely seek this hidden gem out.

This was really a great find. Clean and simply decorated, the food though was absolutely wonderful. I recommend the menu dégustation, which came with 2 starters, 2 mains and a selection of desserts, as well as the wine of choice. Great value, all the food was well prepared and service was warm and friendly! We especially enjoyed the beef in pastry with pâté sauce - expertly prepared. I’ll be happy to visit again.

I've been here four or five times now, and each time it has been wonderful. Izaskun - the lady in charge - is lovely, and runs a great team that ensure the dinners run smoothly and are delicious, with everyone feeling comfortable and having a great time. I've had both the menu del noche (19 euros) and menu de degustacion (30), with both being great quality for their price. If you're looking for a cozy atmosphere where you can eat traditional Basque food, this is the place!

Such a treasure of a find at €16 euros per person for a 3 course lunch and a bottle of wine/cider to share. Absolute jem, nothing fancy, but unpretentious decent home food. Service was super friendly and helpful ☺

Found this restaurant by accident after trekking around trying to find somewhere to eat. Well worth the effort. First floor restaurant. Menu is good - fine fish selection and good meat selection. Wine was excellent, prices overall were great. Try this out, you won't be disappointed.

Cutest little restaurant - we had steak, cod & hake and it was all delicious especially the hake signature dish- best waitress ever!!

Got this restaurant recommended by Airbnb hostess. We got a nice table for two when we showed up, despite the fact we were warned to pre-book as it can at times be very busy.

50€ Tasting menu for two is just amazing. Best value for money I've seen in a long time and not to mention the food. Just delicious. 5-stars and recommended to everyone.

Excellent menú del día. I had paella de mariscos (seafood) pescado (fish), & flan. The staff were hardworking and kind. Expect to take your take and relax. I ordered tinto (red wine) and they brought me a bottle (I was on my own) This has never happened to me in Spain before. Usually they bring one glass) but I enjoyed it. Of course I didn't drink it all - that would have been excessive and, I believe, rude. The flan was the BEST I've had!

It is like having dinner in your living room. A confortable little spot in the first floor of a building in the old part of San Sebastián. The food is of excellent quallity. The main dishes have not changed in the last 10 years and they continue to be delicious. I will srrongly recomend for familly or friends meal as the atmosphere is more of a home than a romantic spot.

Neighborhood gem in the heart of San Sebastián. We happened upon this on a Monday night. We were tired of pinxtos and wanted something different. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor so you have to watch for it but once you enter you feel like you’ve just walked into someone’s dining room. The owner was lovely and we took her recommendations of ordering grilled Hake. It was delicious! We are foodies and would highly recommend!

One of San Sebastián top restaurants, Basque traditional cuisine where the fish is the speciality of the house. The restaurant is located on the first floor, it look more like home rather than a restaurant so don’t miss it!

I have been at this place and I highly recommend it. The food is home made and the price-quality is amazing. If you are in San Sebastian and want real food, do pay a visit to this place.

Amazing meal, lovely staff! Maybe dessert wasn't quite up to the level of the rest of the food, but everything else was perfect! Price was good too.
