Río Safari Elche

Bought tickets from the website the day before, and they were a few euro cheaper. The jeeps take you through the safari and chat about the animals. You can enter the Lima enclosure and watch the sealions. Walkways are really good, everything is very clean. Food places dotted all over, and staff were lovely. Will be coming back with our grandsons.

Surprised at how good it was. It seemed dead at first as we went in February but there were plenty of people about. The water park was closed but everything else was great. A large variety of animals and catered for us English speakers brilliantly.

Staff are lovely! Nice local zoo with gorgeous enclosures. Could have been more food options, but understand since it was only a small zoo. The safari ride is such a good idea, we had a blast! Quite empty since we didn’t go in the summer, probably much busier once it gets hotter.

A very nice zoo. they visited it for the fifth time. the children are delighted as always. Most of all, I like giraffes, they come so close that you can touch them with your hand. I also like the Safari, when you ride in a car with wagons and watch all the animals in the zoo

Really nice zoo. We have visited a few times, usually in the winter months, when you pretty much have the place to yourself. The price is well worth it. The animals are well cared for a lovely day out well worth a visit we will definitely return again this year 👍

Very nice zoo, we visited it in the off season, animals seemed relaxed and taken care of, they provide truly amazing lemur experience together with educational program about them, educator was so sweet and lovely
Car ride in the zoo was as well amazing experience.
They don't serve sangria in cafeteria, but food is ok, with a lot of variety for kids, including fresh fruits and vegetables.
We loved it there and spend there all day.

Perfect place to spent 4 hours in relaxed atmosphere. The whole family really enjoyed our visit 🌟
Note that to get an „after 3 pm discount“ you should proactively say about it to a lady at the ticket office. Some other tips:
- you are allowed to go out and in again
- you will have the best experience if you choose to visit lemur feeding and other activities
- parking is free, enough place
- not much shade, sunscreen would be useful

Second time going here, decent price to get in for adults (22.50€)
All animals look well looked after and all enclosures look clean! Saw several keepets throughout the day tending to the animals. Nice Jeep ride around half the safari is included in the admission fee which is nice. Lovely food! Arcade games, lots of seating in shady areas! The family loved it 🥰

Very good, I like this place. Funny animals. Not big but not small. Mostly exotic animals. I really enyojed the trip to rio, I think it’s great place to go with family. It’s cheap and they have good food

A small zoo but plenty to keep you entertained for the day.

There us also a lovely little safari ride around the enclosures.

Plenty of spaces for you to eat your picnic or you can visit one of the eateries which were reasonably priced.

They have little informative shows with some animals and the sea lion show.

Be sure to screenshot the discount voucher if you are buying tickets on the day or buy online, at the moment it saves €4 per person.

Great day out for the family. Particularly loved the train safari ride and the sea lion show. Would definitely go again in the summer when the water park also open

Very nice clean and well presented zoo. There are also go-karts and water park nearby. Fun day out with the family.

We spent the best part of a day here and it's great value for money!
€135 for 4 adults and two children giving us full access to the safari and the splash park.

We started in the Safari, went to the restaurant for lunch (food choices 👌) then into the splash park for a few hours before going back to the safari to dry off.

Excellent day out! Plenty to do and see but not so big that it involves too much walking.
The exhibits are well detailed and in both Spanish and English (thanks!).
Food is very good and reasonably priced - but it is possible to bring your own food and have a picnic.
Train ride is great fun and well narrated.

Really pleasant experience. Rio Safari is an animal protection zoo. Although not massive it's a nice 3-4 hour visit ideal for people of all ages. They also have a water park during summer making this a full day experience, in addition to climbing park and bouncy castle park.
Food is available and represents good value being both well priced, fresh and tasty.
Rio Safari is very easy to get to and has free parking.
For a protection zoo reliant solely on income from visitors you could not do better. More enjoyable than other commercially run animal attractions.

An absolutely brilliant zoo with a great mixture of animals. Plenty of space in enclosures and wildlife sharing spaces which must enrich their experience. We loved the "train" which gives you a brilliant view of the park entering some of the enclosures. Attached is a lovely little waterpark that is being developed. One of our holiday highlights. Book online for a discount.

We went out of season, no splash park. A very pleasant way to spend 3 to 4 hours. The big cats could do with a little more room but all the other animals seemed to have plenty of space to roam. Plenty of members of staff on litter picking and generally keeping the park in tip top shape. Fully recommend.

Highly recommended for all ages and all seasons. Everywhere was clean. Cafe and souvenir shop. The mini safari ride was fun and the sea lion show was very informative. The owners are very interested in conservation and animal protection.
There is also a water park area here, it looked lovely although I didn't use it on my visit. Will definitely visit again.

A small zoo but plenty there to see and they seem to take care of their animals well. A small pool/water park there too, but extra cost & we didn't include it! Food & drinks available on site.
