Camping Los Escullos

This is a Campsite, even though they have introduced a load of "cabins". The reception and the facilities are really good. It's a place for active people. access to the coast is roads or gravel. Geologically, really interesting. The geology of Spain is so young compared to the rest of Europe.

Beautiful set campsite,next door to fabulous mountains,and extinct volcano. The restaurant serves good food and reasonably priced.we were near the toilet/shower and service block , and we could hear the washing machines day and night spinning, which spoilt the tranquil area.
Beach is not too far to walk but not easy going as the path is very rocky with ruts.you can cycle or drive another way back u the entrance road.
We stayed in march, and the site was busy, but people were coming and going every day.
Great place for walking and cycling.snorkling kayaking, our pitch was quite small,and they feel a bit on top of one another as there are not many hedges to give a bit of privacy. The weather was fantastic, very lucky this yr.

We had a very friendly welcome at the reception. The camp site is very conveniant, spacious and huge. Sanitair is clean and is well taken care of. The pitches are spacious, with sun protection, boarders with vegetarion, electricity and water supply. There is a restaurant, small grocery store and a swimming pool. We can really recommend this camping. Also for campers untill 8 mtrs.

Beautiful campsite with all the necessary facilities. Toilets and showers were nice and cleaned various times a day. The camping plots are spacious enough.
Lovely swimming pool, kids playground, good bar and restaurant. The shop has all the basic items one needs. Good wifi that reaches the whole campsite.
Very friendly service from the ladies at the reception.
Closely located to the beach (800 meters).

Nice place, close to the beach, friendly staff, sanitaries are okay. Plot size was okay for our small camper van, some bigger vehicles had it rather difficult to get in and out the plots, though.

One of the best campsites in Spain. I love the pool area. A bit far from the beach (800 meters) and in summer I guess that it can be a noisy place because the plots are very close together. But everything is very clean and the employees are very friendly and always eager to help.

Very well kept and quiet campsite. Toilets and showers very clean. Amazing swimmingpool, lots of sportfacilities. Nature around is splendid
This was our first but not last visit.

Loved this campsite. The plots are large and flat, the bathrooms clean and well maintained, there is a lovely pool (a bit chilly this time of year but we still had a 🏊), and everyone was very friendly. Also a great location, with a moderate pleasant hike along the coast to Isleta del Moro.

Nice site for a few days, plenty of hikes in surrounding mountains. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the restaurant food. Amenities as expected for a campsite, reasonably sized pitches, hedges used for demarkation; water fill up on the pitch, grey and black water disposal available. Some work was going on when we stayed (December 2022) but not too obtrusive and actually expected as they are carrying out maintenance work in the quieter months. Small supermarket stocking essentials, fresh bread daily. All in all, a very pleasant stay and the Reception team were very understanding of my particularly poor Spanish!

We have stayed here several times, in a Motorhome and Bungalow. The site is a great size, good facilities, and well maintained and clean. Really nice plots, divided by hedges with electric, water, drainage. Reception and restaurant staff have been very helpful and friendly every visit. Great location for walking and beautiful views. They also offer late check out (small fee)

Great pool, lovely restaurant at low prices, shower/laundry block first class, excellent small supermarket on site, loads of room for the motorhome. Beach a bit far maybe 40 min walk and just gravel. You can drive there in 10 min. Nothing else in the area but still a great site for a few days. Would go again. €10 per person, electric and your own water tap.

nice and clean camping site with tent/camper/caravan pitches but also bungalows and tipis to rent.
A lot to do around there, multiple activities and loved the saltwater pool.

Great location, lots of mountain bike tracks, coastal and inland. Site staff are freindly and helpful. Restaurant has good reasonably priced food, and waiting staff are very good. Showers are hot but need a clean with bleach. Toilets are clean. Pitches are flat and have shade

Great Campsite, great location and services, great hiking and beachs...good bar on site with pool...
...have spent many months here over the last couple of years...always good!!

Winter visit. Lovely weather. Great place to be when UK is soooo cold and horrible. Loved sitting outside in the bar. Happy hour was great..met some lovely people. Really enjoyed Escullos !

This is our 3rd visit this year. Beautiful site, lovely helpful staff. BUT, on weekends be prepared for VERY loud music, chatting, from bungalows and plots. Well into 3am in the morning. Although guests are asked to respect other guests and try to keep quiet after midnight, this does not happen and is not enforced by the Campsite. Security is on site if it becomes to much!

20 minute walk to beach. Nice walks.

Absolutely recommendeded! Beautiful camping in amazing location. Very close to the beach. You can easily walk to enjoy a beautiful sunrise. Very clean, good food, amazing staff. Enjoy your time there!

Even with the campsite was full, it didn't feel overcrowded. Super clean showers and toilet block. Great meal in the restaurant, Sunday evening and very reasonable.

We really like this site, very well run with excellent facilities, maintained well and kept clean, friendly and helpful staff and it’s nice and quiet. Good for cycling and easy access to SAN José, Las Negras and the many beaches. Good walking on various trails along the coast or inland.
