We ate the most delicious and well-cooked sole fish we have ever had in this restaurant lately. All other dishes were also very good. always a place worth visiting.

Will be back thats for sure...
The service is attentive and knowledgeable, if you arrive earlier - you can have a drink at the bar and the staff will invite you to your table as soon as its ready.
Thing to improve would be the cleanliness of the outdoor tables.
The prices on the steep side - nothing to add. Not sure if justified but the product is good.
We tried the crab, ravioli, tartare, croquetas, tuna and chocolate and cheesecake for dessert.
Crab was ok, ravioli veery good and tartare exellent! The meat was tender and on the sides you had some kind of garlic sauce which went well with the dish. Chocolate dessert again very good but a bit lacking on the olive oil element. Cheesecake heavenly. Next time for me it will be tartare and cheesecake! Look forward to coming back.

Narru was amazing. The food was simply delicious - highly recommend. The meat was tender, the lettuce was the freshest and crispiest one I’ve tried, the chestnut puree was my favorite. The dessert was good too - I enjoyed a hazelnut lava cake.

We had a delicious dinner last night at Narru! As we had a satisfying full lunch already, we didn't want the tasting menu but a la carte. The tuna belly is unbelievable with just a bit oil and salt. Top quality taro! The ox ravioli with mushrooms on the top is amazing too, but the sauce on the bottom is too rich with butter, so we avoided that. Next came the most flavorful Iberian Pork, tender and juicy, even more delicious than steak! And the smoky tasty red pepper! We were very happy with the dinner! Definitely come back if we are ever in town!

Delicious food. Lovely staff. I particularly like the way you can order half portions which they will split into individual plates (one for each person). This gives you the feel of a taster menu that you have chosen. Of course this is not the cheapest restaurant but it felt good value compared to the high prices at some of the other Michelin star locations.

Exceptional meal. Everything was extremely delicious. We absolutely loved the ravioli; the sauce was the king, the hake fish with cauliflower cream; very very well cooked, and the steak! Oh my, the crust was so perfectly charred that we couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. For dessert, highly recommend the Apple Tart.. loved every bite of it.

9 or 9.5. They gave a small free tuna appetizer which was really good. Croquetas were the softest/gooiest (in a good way) I’ve ever had, really nice. Salmonejro with red tuna was the best I’ve had, usually not a fan of cold soup but this was really good. Hake with cauliflower cream and kale was amazing

Update: second time consistent with first. Went for pintxos which is amazing value given the ability to sit and the service. Mini bonito with tuna was amazing, tortilla de patatas perfectly gooey on the inside, on the same tier as the best I had in madrid

Must visit place! Amazing service and amazing food! We ordered all dishes to share and the restaurant splits the dishes in two for us to enjoy. Will definitely be coming back soon. We ordered the Salmorejo (absolutely stunning), the Pulpo (delicious), the Ravioli (no words to describe how good it was), the Almejas (very fresh), the Pluma and Pimientos del piquillo (amazing!). For dessert, we shared the ‘Crema de queso’ and the ‘Coulant’.

During our first night in San Sebastián, we wanted to go somewhere special for dinner. We made reservations at Narru. It is in a great location near the city center. Plenty of seating outside and in with a minimalist design. They had a vast wine selection and a pretty large menu. We natural went seafood heavy and their options did not disappoint.

They had half and full portions of everything, so great for folks that want to share and try a little bit of everything.

Great service and very friendly folks.

I highly recommend.

Came here for dinner and was seated outside.

What to order:
+ The tuna was divine
+ Crystal bread
+ Lobster
+ Hake fish

Service:
+ Friendly staff who speak good English
+ He recommended what to order

Environment:
+ If you want something less formal, choose the outside seating
+ If you want something more formal, sit inside the restaurant

There were 7 of us and the kitchen did a great job portioning the food into individual plates. The dinner was long but everyone enjoyed it.

An upscale restaurant, nearly impossible to get into even off season. The food is great, the service is quick, the atmosphere is somewhat hectic. Cheesecake is heaven

Impressive restaurant for a city with the highest culinary standards. The specials included tear peas, which are called the caviar of the earth for their deliciousness. The rest of the menu was outstanding: wild mushroom with scrambled egg, one of the best steak tartars I’ve had and excellent fish and meat. Service is attentive and they even have cocktails. A must if you’re in town.

When visiting Donosti we always make sure to eat here at least once. The menu is extensive and full of local specialties like kokotxas, txuleta and seasonal vegetables. Must try is the ravioli with oxtail and egg.
The wine cellar downstairs is an eye catcher for sure.

Que Rico. Had 1/2 portion of oxtail ravioli with mushrooms and hake with kale and cream. Both delicious. 1st try of Toxkali white wine! Very good. Finished with hazelnut coulant...tasty! Friendly service!

Very nice dining experience at Narru. They have a large outdoor dining space under the colonnade of the hotel. Service is excellent. The menu is especially strong on fish dishes. The wine list is also very good. It has a really good variety of wines by the glass–not all that common at restaurants here. Prices are around €15 for starters and €30 for main plates, which are served mostly without sides.

Everything was exquisite with fantastic service offered by the ground staff. We left the place with our hearts pining for the hazelnut coulant even after months have passed.

Exquisite.

Everything was exceptional; from the welcome to the exit. We were treated very well by the staff.

All the dishes were Michelin caliber. The Red Tuna Tardito, the Ox Ravioli, Sirloin Steak Tartar, and the Tempered Cheesecake were all the best dishes of the same kind I've had anywhere.

The only things I could fault were the bruschetta, which was undercooked (see image), the pluma iberico pork steak, which was served rather disjointed - I had to plate it myself (see images) taste is exquisite though, and the Octupus, which was chewier than one would expect but I'd consider this a one off mishap.

All in all, a very pleasant experience. With small improvements, I don't see why Narru shouldn't make it's first Michelin star. Highly recommended for any foodie, and should be on the San Sebastian itinerary.
