This is a delightful boutique style hotel, run by owners who care.
The rooms are individual and the setting a haven. Dinner is well worth it and the pool a welcome escape after a day’s walking or visit to Granada.
Highly recommend the hotel, and as a travel exec I’ve stayed in a few!

We had a lovely stay at this historic farmhouse from the 14th century! Rooms are spacious and incredibly charming, views of mountains and early morning herding sheep, simple but excellent breakfast, and absolutely fabulous dinner! While the dinner menu is a prix fixe, the owners of the property went above and beyond to cater to my dietary preferences. A bit of a drive from Granda, but excellent location to enjoy the early mornings in town (beat the heat) and the head back for pool lounging and dinner.

What a gorgeous, peaceful place. A wonderful breeze is blowing through the windows, and all I hear are the birds. The service is top notch. The rooms are clean and rustic. The bed is super comfortable. Amazing shower! A special place to relax. Just 30 minutes to the Alhambra, which I highly recommend; otherwise, bring your bathing suit and have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at their excellent restaurant. The owners are on property, and really make you feel at home. I cannot recommend it enough.

We recently came here for my fathers 70th birthday and had a truly wonderful time, it was magical. The owners and staff are absolutely fantastic and the setting is stunning. The food is all delicious and the wine list is sensational, think it stretched to 30 pages and everything we drank was excellent. We will remember the few days we spent here for the rest of our lives. Thank you to all of the team at Hotel Cortijo del Marqués, you are doing a fabulous fabulous job.

Beautiful place with fantastic owners and staff - recommend a walk around the olive groves and dining on site! The views from the Silo are calming to say the least.

This is the perfect Getaway hotel, the setting is truly magical with stunning views in all directions. Our room was an old stable block which has been sympathetically renovated to retain it's old charm. The pool area is a haven to soaks up the sun in a beautiful courtyard. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was outstanding. The owners are very friendly and are on hand if you need anything at all. The one and only thing we would have added would be a small fridge in the room to cool drinks. Everything else was perfect - what a treat!

This is a very special place! Really away from anything else, you leave the highway and go on a little road for over 2 km to find a really lovely place, in amongst rows and rows of olive trees 🌳 Book yourselves in for a meal at least one night, for a set menu that is, again special!
Prepared to be blown away by service, friendliness and being in a lovely comfortable room.
Thank you to Sylvia and here team for looking after us so well.
Highly recommended and would love to go again one day.

Excellent all round.

This is a very special place. The kind of place you come across that fits all your dreams of what you were looking for - and then, on arrival - exceeds them all! The long approach up an easy, well maintained, unpaved road builds up your feeling of excitement and wonder until you arrive at the beautiful old collection of buildings. Walk across the cobbled courtyard with its orange trees and enter the main hall, all dark wood and comfortable furniture. Your room (ours was large with two full length windows) may have a wood or stone floor and will certainly have an extremely comfortable bed and plenty hot water in your bathroom. The dining room - with its large log fire throwing out warmth - is spacious and beautiful. We really enjoyed the set menu and if you are a wine lover you will be delighted with the choice of good and fine wines.

Throughout your stay you will be treated with the utmost care and courtesy at the highest level of professionalism whilst maintaining a lovely warm and pleasant personal touch; this ethos radiates from owners and staff alike.

It is a rare and memorable experience to find a place like this and my friends and I will return for special times and occasions when we feel like treating ourselves. Highly recommended.

What an incredible little hotel! We stayed 7 nights in the Terraza room. Hired a local driver to take us to town a few days. Perfect mix of chill countryside and city. It was all wonderful. The owners are very personable and professional. The food was excellent. It really is the perfect place to disconnect! Also, the price for everything is very reasonable. Will be back!

We only stayed one night on a last minute booking but what an amazing place. We took mountain bikes through the olive groves and swam and walked around the grounds. Gracious hosts and a fabulous meal and spectacular room. All the little details were perfect.

Our three night stay (suite Iglesias) in this beautiful haven was just the medicine needed since travel has become possible again after COVID restrictions. The surroundings and hotel are out of this world. Our hosts were kindly attentive to making us comfortable and they never hesitated with recommendations. Delicious food and service. Unplug your phone and computer and enjoy.Thank you so much!

Having visited this charming hotel twice in the last three years, l left feeling l wished l was just arriving. A wonderfully warm friendly experience, the owners are delightful and the staff friendly and helpful. Food and wines are excellent and reasonably priced. This hotel is a little off the beaten track but it's magical charm and beautiful surroundings more than makes up for this small inconvenience. I will definitely be returning again and again.

This is a magical spot and just the right amount of "out of the way" from Granada. Make the trip you wont be disappointed. Great food, spectacular staff (hosts), and very unique rooms. We look forward to our return.

Impeccable. A holiday far, far away from - and floating a little bit above - reality. Food better than your grandmother could ever imagine, let alone make. Hosts that elevate the craft of hotelier to an art form. A hotel so saturated with historic character that you can hardly believe you’re in 2021. I am loathe to leave this review because I don’t really want anyone else to go, I would much rather keep it all to myself.

Incredibly beautiful!!!! It couldn't be better, simply a WOW. We stayed at your place 7 years ago and it was good then, and now you have improved it so much, all those details...

Our room Aljibe, was just great, with wonderful views over green and calm fields with Sierra Nevada in the backdrop. The bathroom, with that unique bathtube.

The restaurant for us was also new, great place with the chimneys. Excellent food and warm and gentle service. Elko, your bodega is really good. It was nice to enjoy different "caldos" from your selection.

A big thank to both of you, for your hospitality, making us feel like home from the very first moment. Even our little baby had a good time and we all three really managed to rest over this weekend.

Our best wishes.

Great location, 2x minutes from Granada so you can enjoy the best of two colliding world: the buzzing heritage of the city and the paramount landscape of ansalucia. The place run by a couple who actually live on site with their two kids. Yes they are the managers but they aim for a life time experience and culinary included. So plan to dine with them!
