A lovely garden in a pretty town standing below the church. A beautiful water feature and some statues. Lots of pretty flowers and plants. Plenty of benches to rest in the shade and a car park next door

Really pitoresque village

Lovely, friendly, picturesque village

Beautiful,! worth the nerve wrecking trip up the mountains with sheer drops hundreds of metres below you.
Not for the faint hearted though as the Canarians like to drive fast around the hair pin roads on a Sunday afternoon,( national pastime) not to mention the hundreds of cyclists that leave you with the conundrum do I pass out or not and what about the mad Canarian that I might meet coming around the corner. Glad to be back in my apart with a bottle of wine in front of me and one or two in reserve for my shattered nerves. Forgot to mention faulty clutch with gears sticking of our rental.
But Saint Lucia is a very beautiful place and certainly worth the bother.

One needs to stop and look around to fully appreciate the beauty. If you just pass buy in a car or bicycle, you will not notice it. Just go into the small park, walk up the stairs to the church, perhaps have lunch at the Mirador restaurant (make sure to get a table in the terrace).

Beautiful village on the south-east side of the island. Consider staying at one of the rural vacation rentals on the outskirts for a relaxing holiday or weekend. Also, there are plenty of hiking routes in the vicinity.
