Chiringuito El Lastre Portmán

This is a very small kitchen, but the food is executed to a very high degree and i would class it as excellent. There is care in the cool and presentation. The squid was excellent as was the cod tempura. The turbot special was well cooked and presented. It’s right on the water and the staff are pleasant. The jarred frozen desserts are also excellent. I went there twice in my 2 weeks and would have gone more if I could have.

Lovely location, very friendly staff, great food & wine.

All tables were already reserved for lunch when we arrived at 11am, (so it would be a good idea to book in advance), but they managed to squeeze us in (4 persons) if we could finish before the table was needed.

We had a really lovely meal and I recommend the fish choices on the specials board.

We look forward to returning next year.

Great bar and restaurant by the beach

Very nicely located at one of the most beautiful beaches of the area. The Gambas al ajillo are simply sensational and so are the fresh fishes.

We have been coming here for a few years now and it is consistently excellent. Tried market fresh Grouper this time and was really impressed. Great location (with a breeze off the sea) and great service although it does get busy. A mix of locals and tourists but the word is out, so best to book ahead. Priced fairly in my opinion given he location, but not 'budget'

Despite the fact that the was full and the staff under pressure the lady managed to get us a table very nicely even that we were there only for a drink. The location of the chiringuito is fantastic. I surely would recommend this place. Thank you for a relax moment for us.

What a beautiful place to visit , a well earned rest on a 170km ride

One of the best locations on the Costa Callida mainly due to the rocky slightly elevated position but also because its away from the usual business of mid season La Manga. Excellent food and quite well priced but must arrive before sunset for best 'ambience' and the service was excellent. Go at least once to try it out but not when I want a table.

Beautiful setting overlooking the Med. Great service and wonderful, freshly cooked fish dishes. Also the best Caesar salad I've had. Highly recommended

Great location, fast staff, good food. Book in advance. Bathroom is too small and has no place to change babies, so they could invest a bit on that.
