El Fuerte Marbella

Really nice and quite hotel. The people working here are all so friendly and kind. Emanuele is a blessing in the morning, super funny and always a nice chat while making you an omelette. We will return more often for sure!

What a fabulous hotel this is. I recently had 3 nights here with my family and it did not disappoint.
The location is perfect, right on the beach and close to the old town. There's a beautiful outdoor and indoor area to sit and have breakfast and lots of sun loungers around two pools. There's also a great view from the rooftop area. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tidy.
I found every staff member to be super friendly and helpful...nothing was too much trouble and they were all very professional. The room was wonderful, with a comfy bed and the best pillows. The Molton Brown toiletries were a nice touch too.
Breakfast was amazing, there is something for everyone no matter what your dietary needs/preferences are.
I'm quite fussy 🙂 and rarely find somewhere I can't fault, however El Fuerte is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. If you are considering booking a stay, do it, you won't be disappointed ❤

The interior design is a 20 out of 10! It is cozy and modern with an amazing combination of contrasting colours. Lovely room. Location is unmatched in Marbella. Breakfast is a feast. And what I liked is that the staff is genuine so yes they make mistakes, they speak Spanglish; and they do not run after you as they do at some 5 star hotels. It makes the whole experience more human. So treat yourself to this hotel, as you will not regret it.

This is an excellent hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly, service is impeccable. It had a big refurb and only re-opened earlier this year, so everything is brand new. 3 pools of which 1 is heated on the ground floor. Rooms are spotless. Staff attend to rooms twice a day. Massive selection for breakfast to cater for different nationalities of which there were many British, German & Spanish guests. The only two slight negatives to me are the fact that the hotel does not have any printed menus. You either have to use an app on your phone or their website. The other is in the bathroom where the big towels fall off the holders as they don’t have hook and towels end up on floor. Towels are thin and nowhere near quality of U.K. 5 star hotels. Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely

I visited with my mother as returning guests to Hotel El Fuerte to be amazed at the transformation of the hotel. It has been beautifully designed, a great place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing break away.
Booked a standard room with a city view which was comfortable, amazing beds but a little disappointed that the bathroom hadn’t been renovated although spotlessly clean. Mini bar and tea/coffee facilities were great however our cups were not changed for the duration of our stay just rinsed out.
We enjoyed our holiday, fantastic location and staff were extremely friendly and obliging, nothing was too much trouble, would definitely return.

Because an hotel we booked, started renovations they booked us in this marvelous hotel. Great customer service, nice rooms with ocean views, lovely beds and abundant breakfast. Per accident the cleaning lady took our champagne glasses from our room, they were promptly send at home

We had such a lovely 3 night stay at El Fuerte. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location to so many restaurants. The rooms and amenities were nice, but the service we received was truly top notch. We travel often and stay at many 5-star hotels, but the hospitality here topped any experience we have had before. Thank you to the friendly and accommodating staff, notably Ismel, for making our stay so enjoyable!

Hands down one of the best hotels that my husband and I have been to. We stayed in the junior suite facing the sea and it was breathtaking. The service was exceptional. Breakfast buffet was delicious. We will definitely be back.

This was our third time in this hotel and now the first since their beautiful renovation.
We stayed there a few days to celebrate New Year and left yesterday.
The service was perfect, staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room, which we couldn’t find at first, was above expectations.
We took half board; dinner is very good and New Year’s Eve gala dinner and event organized by the hotel was also above expectations.
We thank Maria José Antúnez Corrales, the hotel director, for the fantastic services, organisation and management of this hotel, which she leads with an excellent team.
We definitely go back in the near future.

SENSATIONAL! Most Elegant, Most Luxurious, The Best, the Most Wonderful hotel; I can't think of enough superlatives! Apart from a problematic reservation by phone which was resolved in the most elegant and client-centric manner by Jose at the reception of the hotel, this was a totally fabulous experience. Our room was gorgeous and the bathroom with its hi-tec amenities and large shower is to die for. We enjoyed a jacuzzi on the balcony whilst watching the sun set; unbelievably romantic and relaxing. After a peaceful night's sleep in a very comfortable bed, the breakfast buffet is second to none and the staff were ready to provide anything we fancied! Throughout the hotel, the dedication and caring attitude of ALL the staff, and the attention to detail, is top class so that one feels the luxurious atmosphere that the designers intended for us. I love a steam-room (hammam) and the Spa at El Fuerte did not disappoint. We also worked out in the gym on the 6th floor which has top-notch Technogym equipment and a view to take your breath away (if your workout hasn't already). We were also very comforted by the high level of security when entering the hotel. This is the new "standard" for all other hotels in Marbella to aspire to.

Excellent, renovated hotel near Marbella center. Professional, accommodating staff always greeted us with a smile and made us feel like royalty. Great breakfast service to get the day off started right. Our room was well renovated, particularly loved the green marble encasing the restroom. Pools were quiet and almost always had available sun beds. Beach is just off the boardwalk, so it’s truly a beachfront hotel with nice views. Cocktails at their lounge are nice at sundown. Only area I would recommend some improvement on is faster service at the beach club. If you’re looking for a ‘sceney’, loud, hotel full of 20-something’s, look elsewhere. But if you’re looking for a restful, true 5-star hotel with a spa and quiet pools, look no further.

The Hotel is superbly located. Just 2 minutes walk to the Beach and 5 mins walk to Marbella Old Town. The Hotel has a beach bar/restaurant so you can choose to sit by the pools or at the beach, the choice is yours. The facilities at the Hotel are top notch, modern and well maintained. The Hotel has gone through a total multi-million refurbishment and it shows.

All the staff are friendly, attentive and well trained. A very well-run hotel. I would have no qualms in recommending it.

The only comment I will make is the clientelle are a slightly older generation but that could be the time we went in mid/late September. I think it is more geared to family/well-healed oldies but that is just an observation NOT a criticism.

Very beautiful Hotel and very nice and friendly staff.
We booked with a travel agency and it included a shuttle from the hotel to the airport. Something went wrong there, but the very nice staff at the hotel did multiple phone calls for us so that we got picked up by the shuttle bus in the end!

All the colors and furnitures in the hotel are very nice and fit very well together, so that one can really enjoy the stay.

We were there in October, there were no beach loungers at the seaside, which was suggestet in hotel photos. But it did not matter for us, because there are beautiful places directly in the hotels garden with seaview.

One thing we definitely take out of our Review: The Dinner Restaurants!
The Restaurants in the Hotel (LeMarche, Levante, Soleo Beach Club) are extremely overpriced for what you get. The waiters are uncoordinated, there is definitly some flaw in their system. Sometimes we waited very long before we got drinks, the waiters didnt seem to know where they should bring the food,... although they always were very friendly.
And the food was not what you would expect to get there. In every other restaurant outside the hotel we ate at least twice as good for half the price.
Breakfast was perfect though!!

So, all in all this is a perfect hotel, but i would advise to eat at some local restaurant.

Fab fab fab. Enjoyed a weekend break here in December. The service, the rooftop, the breakfast were all amazing. Cannot wait to stay again and have already recommended to all my friends and family.

The hotel offers spacious rooms with a super nice bathroom. The highlight is the stunning sea view from the balcony, where you can enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. The hotel's central location, just a 3-minute walk from the old town, is a matter of personal preference. Overall, El Fuerte Marbella is a fantastic choice for a memorable stay with breathtaking views.

The décor and atmosphere across all areas were fantastic. The sound of the ocean from every area was so relaxing and the service from all the staff was exceptional.

Simply the best in every way. Gorgeously renovated earlier this year and oozing with luxury. Staff are attentive friendly and rapid at every interaction. Room was divine with an unbeatable sea view and the amenities are to die for. Breakfast buffet is an incredible operation with chefs making your order a la carte or the biggest spread you can imagine to choose from. They even had a honeycomb station so you can get fresh honey for your yoghurt. Rooftop bar has an epic view. Exxy but worth every penny. Location is unbeatable as it’s directly beachfront and then a short easy walk into the charming Old Town for shopping and dinner. Already dying to go back!!

Amazing location, staff, and atmosphere. The renovation seems to be stunning (had not stayed here previously). But, I cannot say enough great things about the experience and staff we will 100% return in the future - top notch.

Beautiful hotel with an extremly tasteful interior design, very helpful and always welcoming staff, great service great views great food. All in all beyond 5 star.
