Monestir De Les Avellanes

This place is amazing. So calm, quiet, with its special aura. I just wanted to stay there for a few days but we booked only 1 night and had to go further.
We were travelling for 14 days around France and Spain but this place, actually, I liked the best. Would like to live there for a bit and paint its landscape, discover more interesting facts about this monastery, meditate.
And it has one of the nicest starry sky in the Europe as this are has very little city lights in the nighttime.
Rooms were tidy. Only thing what annoyed me was thermostat what made clicking noises all the time, so we turned it off and slept with open windows.
We didnt take breakfast there, bought only coffee. But breakfast buffet seemed a bit poor and staff didnt spoke English at all in breakfast counter. Luckily I know a few sentences in Spanish language.
Overall, the price for this place is very, very, very good. 2 glasses of wine with olives costed 4€ and I would like to return there :)

A historic monastery which has fully renovated the hotel & restaurant part. Comfortable, spacious rooms with natural light and full equipped bathroom. Quiet and familiar atmosphere, ideal for a personal retreat, a study or writing period or as base camp for daily walks and visits to the area. Close to Balaguer, Ager and many more interesting small towns and natural areas such a Montsec, Montroig, riu Segre or Congost de Mont-Rebei. Prices are reasonable and staff very helpful.

Place is great, and food is good, service a bit slow and lost but there was a big group.. Good relation between food and price, and the place is amazing.

Is a good religion place for a wedding, because it has all the services, dinner, church and hotel. It is awesome and so beautiful with a lot of history. They make their own wine. Maristes are still living there.

We be there only for visit and coffee, marvelous place. very professional staff and good coffe and cheap

Vaig dinar al restaurant i visitar el claustre i la capella. Poca gent,bona atenció,preu just i un entorn tranquil i relaxant. Una experiència molt recomanable. Possiblement hi tornaré.

El Monestir de les Avellanes es un conjunto simple, sin grandes ornamentaciones que cuenta con varios espacios construidos a lo largo del siglo XX, es un lugar muy interesante si estás por la zon. Una de las zonas que a mí me impactó fue su claustro.
La actual construcción del Monestir de Santa Maria de Bellpuig de les Avellanes es prácticamente toda del siglo XX. Pero ha conservado el encanto del antiguo monasterio románico. Se encuentra en Os de Balaguer, en la carretera que lleva hacia Àger.
Hay que tener en cuenta que actualmente, es un lugar de espiritualidad y que además, es todo un complejo formado por una hospedería, un restaurante, espacios de reunión, una casa de colonias que queda más apartada, un archivo, una biblioteca y una parte donde se instala una tienda. . En 1910 pasó al poder de los hermanos Maristas, que han hecho las reformas pertinentes para convertirlo en este gran espacio de ocio y descanso. La verdad que es una zona súper tranquila para poder pasar unos día si buscas descanso y desconexión en medio de un entorno natural y de gran belleza. En esta zona también podrás encontrar unas rutas para poder realizar si te gusta la montaña.

Gràcies de tot cor als Germans de la Casa de la Espiritualitat del Monestir de las Avellanes. Una acollida i acompanyament extraordinari com si fos una germana més. Espero que ens veiem aviat i que moltes més persones puguin gaudir d’una estada com jo he fet. Fins aviat!

Hem passat un cap de setmana en un indret incomparable. La calma i la quietud es respirava per tot arreu. Habitacions senzilles però acollidores. I tot molt nét. Amabilitat per part del personal. L' esmorzar molt abundant i variat. Enhorabona a Carolina, la recepcionista per la seva voluntat i esforç en parlar el català.
Ho recomano tothom ja que hem trobat molt bona relació qualitat-preu. Hi tornarem.

Menjar fet al moment i força bó. El sevei bé en tot moment , malgrat esser una única persona al menjador . La música ambiental sobra. El menú molt bó i les postres també.

Tornariem a repetir l'experiència. El menú de grups és espectacular! Durant l'àpat van estar atents en tot moment. I el servei de música (Noel events) va ser molt bo.

Nuestra familia hemos ido a cenar hoy al mediodia y a sido increible !! El señor Paco del servicio increible!! Te hace sentir como en casa un servicio de 10 igual que la comida!! La comida una calidad muy superior a su precio!!
LO RECOMIENDO AL MAXIMO!!
