The best! We had the tasting menu and it was amazing! Steak was incredibly flavoursome and smokey from being cooked over coals. We came back the next day to have the torrija and it was incredible.

Good value and nice staff. The only mystery is why they aren’t busier, but we’ve noticed that the best places in Donostia are not the busiest ones.

Delicious, unpretentious and good value. Steak, salad verte, peppers and frites w/ 2 cidre for under 40 Euros. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a great meal beyond pinxtos. Menu available en Français, Español and English. Cidre is nice and dry, not sweet and goes well with food.

The salt cod tortilla and the steak were highlights of dinner.

The Torrija (sort of an amazing French toast with a brûlée top and bottom) was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever had.

We stopped for dinner in the downstairs restaurant, the food was really excellent quality and very tasty indeed, so much so that we returned the following evening, it was close to the apartment we had rented and we found the food here generally better quality and less expensive than the "tourist" focused restaurants in the old town. Excellent house Rijoa (and very well priced) made for a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend the brioche desert which we had on both nights! Enjoy.

Very delicious. Never had home made potatos like this before and the sauce coming with it was incredibly tasty.. The rest of the food was also good. Service is very slow - it took us 2 hours to get 3 dishes.

It's very delicious there. Have dined several times and each time the taste of the food was excellent. Omelette with porcini mushrooms is perfection, everything else is worthy of the highest marks. And not expensive. I recommend.

Fantastic! The staffs are very friendly. Their offered food has given us the best experience since we moved to San Sebastián last year! I highly recommend salad, roasted beef and Basque cake! It worth revisiting and I have recommend this restaurant to several friends here!

Had a lunch at a traditional Basque cider house, the omelette was very soft and easy to consume, the poached cod's texture was spot on and complemented well with the crispy onions! It was 36€ per pax if I'm not wrong, was given a treat by my friend's parents. An astonishing experience nonetheless!

The dishes we had were:

• Tortilla de bacalao (salted cod omelette)

• Bacalao con pimientos y cebolla crocante (poached cod with fried onions and grilled green peppers)

• Txuleta de vaca (t-bone steak)

• Idiazabal cheese, walnuts and quince jam

• Free flow cider and bread

Sabroso! My friend and I had the cod croquettes, papas fritas and the house tomatoes. Amazing! Friendly owner and attentive staff. The restaurant is situated on a beautiful pedestrian arcade in front of the Catedral del Buen Pastor.

Excellent restaurant with a local vibe. The staff were so friendly and helpful (even with our bad Spanish!). They make really good cider and getting the cider from the 4 barrels on the wall was a fun and unique experience in itself!! The food was excellent as well... we had seafood and pimientos verdes. Highly recommend!

Amazing sidrería menu, with access to the keg to pour your own ciders! We ate so well, with amazing care from the staff and chefs. Will absolutely recommend this place to our family and friends visiting San Sebastian, and we can't wait to eat here again on our next visit

Unpretentious, but very tasty dishes particularly the side sauces/dips which all elevated the accompanying food. Recommended.

Absolutely brilliant restaurant, delicious dishes, wide choice of fish, meat dishes, perfectly cooked and presented. Quirky offering of free cider, straight from the barrel. Excellent hosts, we'll be back again.

Possibly the best chuleton I have ever tasted. Friendly staff. Unpretentious. Pimentos de piquillo were a delight too. My only complain is the bar is now set too high for any other chuleton to come close. Thank you Txotx

First time at San Sebastián and based on some reviews, we tried the Txotx gourmet restaurant, and it was a very good choice. From starters to mains, all were delicious. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed 😃.

When visiting San Sebastián do not miss the opportunity to try this amazing restaurant. Wonderful food and the most beautiful and welcoming people. Highly recommend the gourmet cider menu, every course made from local produce from a very talented chef and of course the unlimited cider! My absolute favourite place of those we have tried.
