The food was outstanding, nothing that we didn't like. Portions are quite large and we (2 pax) shared each dish. Would definitely go back for more!

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was really lovely. It is one of the few places of this calibre in San Sebastian without a tasting menu, but we thought that was actually a good thing for a change. The dishes were sufficiently sized and we were full after starters, main and dessert. After that we had a look in the wine cellar, which is just as amazing as the food; really worth it to have a look down there.

Food was good and the wine list is probably one the largest I’ve seen. It really was a great meal. Service was very good, nice break between courses.

Got taken down to wine cellar afterwards which is a treat in itself, very interesting and nice addition to the end of a meal.

Not much to say simply it was a perfect experience from every point of view. The artichoke starter is a miracle divine recommendations were perfect fit to our tastes. the service is super good and personal was remarkable

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! If you love wine, this is your spot. The restaurant is beautiful with a charming and inviting terrace and an incredible book of wine selections from around the world. A sommelier circulates around the tables to make recommendations based on your taste and cost preferences and selected 3 incredible wines for us from the Ribera region in Spain. We also enjoyed several dishes from the menu including oysters, cuttle fish and venison. While the seating arrangement was picturesque, a member of our party battled 3 bird droppings over the course of the meal before moving chairs. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Rekondo stood out from all the restaurants we ate in at Basque Country during our 10 day culinary trip.

They mainly work with seafood and local Basque cuisine, elevated to a fine dining level. Delicious raw ingredients stand out, cooked to perfection and carefully presented dishes, not to mention their 300-page wine list!

Not to forget the elegant ambience and stunning views of San Sebastián from their terrace. The service was also superb and took excellent care of us throughout the meal.

Having been at dozens of Michelin star restaurants, this one is certainly up there in terms of experience. Definitely recommended and one to make the time for if you are in the area.

This is fine dining. Very fancy. Lovely linens and silverware, etc. The food was truly epic. Among our favorites were the white asparagus with lobster and the roast piglet.

While the food was very expensive, the wine was quite reasonable by the glass. The sommelier took very good care of us and gave us and several other tables a tour of the amazing wine cellar. If you go, I highly recommend asking for a tour.

A perfect way to finish our final night in San Sebastián.

The food was really great, we were able to split our entrees onto two plates so we were able to share, would definitely recommend asking for that, if you can’t decide/fancy trying a few things on offer!

Both had individual mains; my wife really enjoyed the baked crab whilst I went for the suckling pig, which did not disappoint.

I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but my wife ordered a dessert - I believe called the chocolate volcano and I was encouraged by the staff to have just a small teaspoon 😂

Very knowledgeable sommelier who guided us through the menu and in the end encouraged us to a couple of glasses of Rioja which was an unexpected highlight - although my personal highlight was the Armagnac from 1987!

An unforgettable evening and would like to pass on my heartfelt thanks to everyone for making it so special.

Everything here was perfect. The food, service, atmosphere, the wine list, not to mention the wine cellar (a must see). Attention to every detail. It's not on the list of To-Talk-About, but the Ox Ribeye is phenomenal. I preferred it to my friend's filet mignon. The sommelier turned us on to great recommendations, (below the limit i set) that were superb

We had a very good meal here and enjoyed the restaurant. The only issue was drips from the air conditioning unit landing on our magnificent food ! A great experience and the food was excellent

Amazing restaurant with a gorgeous terrace and a crazy big wine cellar. Wine lovers would love to come here. Extremely fair prices for wines as well.

Fish soup was excellent and so was the crab shell (stuffed with crab meat).

Definitely a must go destination when you visit San Sebastian. (A very easy 20-30 minute walk from the concha beach)

Amazing experience in one of the best restaurants in San Sebastián. Iñaki uses prime local ingredients and offers probably one of the best wine cellers in Spain. 100% recommended to anyone looking for a true Vasque culinary experience 👌🏻

An elegant and very exquisite restaurant with delicious food and wonderful wines. We were greatly impressed by the admiringly visited "Piwnica" ( basement ) with a fantastic collection of excellent masterpieces of winemaking art. The oldest year I noticed is 1904..! elegant service and extremely high quality of food. I heartily recommend this place because we and our friends will definitely come back here.

One of the best restaurants we have ever been to! Cannot fault anything we ate and felt the jamon we had here was the best we have had anywhere in the world. Must try and will def be going back when in San Sebastián. I’m very glad I persisted in making a booking after attempting 3 times and were fully booked. I can understand why it’s so hard to book this place. Dessert wasn’t as amazing as the entree and main course but I wasn’t sure if I was just too filled up to really appreciate it.

Very very lovely experience and dining. The wine list is massive, but the excellent sommelier will guide you through it. The food was incredible. The pork belly. Was like nothing I have ever eaten.
