"A Santiago" Hotel

I did not stay here, but did have lunch here on a lovely, tree-shaded patio. It is a good spot to stop for a cold beer just before you enter Belorado. The service was friendly and the waiter spoke some English. The prices are reasonable.

A heavenly stop for pilgrims with just a few hiccups.

The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the food is delightful. My quinoa burger even had ‘Santiago’ spelled out in ketchup!

Budget-friendly, with large food portions to match.

Amenities like multiple washing machines make life easier, and I was even gifted a beer for a small act of courtesy.

Plenty of sunny spots to unwind and spacious rooms with jaw-dropping views make it a unique experience.

Be prepared: the bathrooms lack soap. Also, the hostel claims to only host pilgrims, but there were about 20 kids who were clearly not pilgrims. They ran in the hallways and made a lot of noise at night, which almost tempted me to give 4 stars.

Still, a thoroughly enjoyable experience despite minor issues.

The best albergué I have been, nice staffs, good services, and good foods. The place is clean and we have a nice room, there is washing machine and a drier machine.
We can clean our bicycle, and they have huge storage for the bicycle.
Even there is swimming pool.
It is really great experience, making my stay more enjoyable.

Nice albergue with good restaurant and resting area with swimming pool. Not in the heart of Belorado, but near enough to get there. Highly recommended.

Outstanding staff. Helpful, friendly and jolly. They run the whole business like a well oiled machine.
The room I had was comfortable clean and cool in this heat.
The swimming pool was a bonus to hang the legs into for some recovery.
The pizza is to die for. Drinks varied and the morning coffee the best I've had since SJPdP.

This place is all about pilgrims. We had a wonderful pilgrim menu for dinner at 6 pm, a rarity for Spain but essential for pilgrims who need to be sleeping when most Spaniards are having their evening meal. Even though we weren’t staying there, we were treated as if we were. Great value, friendly staff.

We stayed here for two nights and stayed in one of the private two bed rooms.
The staff is kind and helpful, and the place is clean. There is even a nice pool for those hot summer days.
There is a laundry facility and kitchen for guest use.
We did the pilgrim meal for dinner and it was very good and reasonably priced.
We enjoyed our stay.

After 15 days on the Camino, this is the best value so far, with respect to facilities and price. strong internet + pool + great rooms and bed = 5 euros. other amenities like food/drink/computers are pricey, but really good.

Probably the nicest albergue on the whole Camino up to this point. Nice bathrooms, nice rooms, and just a good facility. No kitchen for pilgirms, but that's not very different from others. I loved my stay here.
