We went to this water park, which is about an hour's drive from San Jose. My partner's son has learning disabilities and is also autistic, he likes paddling in water.

We arrived to find at least 5 disabled car park spaces, clearly sign posted. There was no queue to get in when we arrived. We walked from the ticket office and there were changing rooms and toilets just before you entered the main area of the park.

We were given a map showing what sections were suitable for people with disabilities. It has 3 pools that anyone with a disability can go into on lower ground. All walking areas are flat ground suitable for a wheelchair and prams further up in the park are the water slides. Which is crowded by lots of children and teenagers. We went on the first day of the summer holiday and it was busy. I can only imagine what it is going to be like in July and August.

You can hire a single donut inflatable for €8 double donut €10 , €12 for a triple donut. I think you can hire a mat, maybe to use on the slide, €7. There is a place you can buy food from, not sure about the prices, but the food looked okay. I saw a few youngsters eating their own food they brought with them.

I paid €6.90 for 2 sun loungers, they tie a blue band around them once you pay and give you a receipt, which you need to keep.

We paid £61.00 for 3 of us, we had a 33% disability discount for my partner's son.

It's very clean and they have lots of life guards who are attentive. In one of the pools staff were doing aqua Zumba. You can spend all day there and the children play. There are a couple if not more gift shops where you can buy bracelets and items for the pool.

Definitely worth a visit for adults and children. Adults can also go the slides.
Some of my images had people in, have taken them out if the area looks deserted it wasn't.

We spent over 6 hours here, and had great fun. Plenty of slides, and the pools were fun too.
The lockers are really useful, and we found it helpful to hire chairs too.
We didn’t bother hiring a triple ring, and rarely had to queue for more than a few mins for one.
The ground can get VERY hot so take care of little ones.
All very clean and well run.

We booked a special deal online for the afternoon sessions from 4pm. Well worth it. Brilliant afternoon out with the grandchildren plenty of rides and the staff ensure the queues move quickly and safely.

Great day out with plenty of choices of pools. Slides are good fun and queues were minimal on a busy day in the height of summer. Kids area looks good for the young ones with mini slides. Well supervised by life guards, very clean and well maintained site. Would highly recommend.

Amazing park, loads of slides, queues weren't too long either. My kids aged 9 & 11 lived it perfect age for this park. Nothing too tame but nothing really daring either

Super family day out ,if on a budget can take your own food and drink. Plenty of shady areas for little ones and in general not too busy for ride queues like some bigger parks

We visited Aqua Vera when the season had just started in May, fantastic- friendly staff, clean, no waiting times and reasonably priced food/drink. Will definitely return but I expect it would be really busy in high season.

Relatively small but plenty for all ages. Dedicated little kids area which is well policed (under 120cm). Wave pool, normal pool and a variety of slide types. A few food options which is of a type you'd expect for the venue. The meal deals are normally better value. Small shop on site for souvenirs. You can hire sun loungers with parasol (4.5 euros) or find a space on the limited grass. Staff are generally friendly but will enforce the rules where necessary. You can hire an inflatable ring for the day or queue for the general ones for each ride. It's not the cheapest day out but we always have a great time every time we go. Kids are currently 8 and 4.

Was very impressed as we visited on a Saturday in August, didn't really have to queue to get on the shoots, lots of sunbeds available, very well organised. Great fun for all ages. My 12 year old had the best time and so did we actually. Will definitely go back. Book online as there can be savings made.

Went after 4 for the cheaper ticket which was enough time. Glad we rented a ring else you have to queue for one each time at the bottom of the slides as well as queuing for the slides themselves! So we could go on them much quicker. Staff very professional and park clean. No hairdryers in the changing room though.

Good day out would recommend but they put vouchers on my car for resident then said I lived in wrong area and charged me full price when I have a pensionister card but the park is clean and very well organised.
