This place had one of the biggest pinxto selections near old town that I’ve been to. Favorites: scallops, blackened cod, uni. The scallops and oysters were really good but were somewhat expensive. Got the stewed beef but thought it needed more salt. The zucchini/cream cheese on toast—didnt like this one

Grilled prawns were good, get a seat/table by the front doors and you can eat/drink and people watch.
*beware of the dish that looked like Crème Brûlée, its Foie gras, not to my taste!

Not my favorite pintxos bar but it is pretty good. A little more pricey and hyped up tabas bar so you lose the authenticity a little bit but the food is very decent and it is beautiful inside so definitely you can’t go wrong here. Try the courgettes pintxos and the sea urchin one is quite interesting! Croquetas de jamon are really good and solid!

Absolutely amazing! A bit expensive but worth it! Really delicious pintxos. Probably my favorite place in San Sebastián! Highly recommend!

Great selection of pintxos, very tasty sangria! Goat cheese/tomato and brioche with duck pintxos are incredible! Tables outside have a nice view of the cathedral.

So many options of pintxos it was hard to choose what I wanted. Everything I tried was delicious! Definitely recommend going there if you are in Donostia!

To me these where the best pintxos I had in San Sebastián. They are a bit more pricey but so worth it! I‘ll definitely come back!

One of the best places in San Sebastián, great pincho selection with sea urchin as highlight. Food is fresh and tasty. Took a little bit of time to order since there are many people, but it all was worth waiting for.

We didn’t had a full meal here only did some small samplings. The cod fish was good. We ordered in 3 different variations and they were all very fresh. For me it’s a bit salty but with the local white wine, the combination was perfect. I also really liked the foie gras cream that we had as a small appetizer.

Positively the best pintxos and txakoli in all of San Sebastian. We were in SS for 2.5 days, we went here three times... The staff started to recognize us. And totally worth it. It's all delicious.

If you are looking for authentic, different and surprising kind of 'tapas' and 'pinchos', with a genuine atmosphere, do come here. The food is absolutely great, had some of the most surprising and tasty tapas possible, the place is a typical tapa place where you can casually eat at the counter or seat in one of the beautifully laid out high tables (they're comfortable enough 🙂).

It ain't exactly cheap, but for what you're getting, it's worth the experience, do try it!

Great experience visiting Casa Vergara. Huge variety of Pintxos to choose from, vibe and atmosphere is very Basque and I highly recommend visiting if you’re in San Sebastian!

Great tapas and friendly staff. Like everywhere in the old town, it will take luck and patience to get a seat here during peak hours but the quality and variety of tapas on offer are worth a little effort. The urchins are mind blowing.

A must stop place in San Sebastian. The variety and elegance of the pintxos is amazing, they are truly exquisite; they are treated like art. The prices are reasonable for the quality. The pulpo I had was the best I have had to date anywhere. Would also recommend the Calabacín pintxo.

You can easily make a dinner out of these delicious, original and tasty Pintxos! That with a super nice atmosphere with music! Viva San Sebastian :-)

Absolutely fantastic pinxtos, went there twice in one day! Lots of traffic thru here so food was fresh. Sadly, the staff member who had better things to do kept serving me, other staff seemed fine.

Personally the best pintxos place in terms of creativity and friendliness of the staff. You can find different pintxos than the ones offered in other bar/restaurants nearby.
