Bidassoa Basque Brewery

I love this place so much, we make sure we visit on every trip to San Sebastian.
Train costs around 5 euros return and the Brewery is a short walk from Belaskoenea station.
The beers here are all great, I especially loved their blonde and their IPA's.
Didn't expect to find such great food at a brewery but we loved everything. The Idiazabal cheese Croquetas, the Torreznos and the pastrami beef sandwich were all delicious.
Service with great with very friendly staff.
Highly recommended, can't wait to return.

Extremely friendly. Great beer. Very solid food options. What more could you want?! The highlight for me was the Imperial Stout (at 10%+ it was a perfect option on a rainy day). If you have a hard time finding parking, try Auzolan Kalea one block south.

Nice place to stop to eat and have a great local crafted beer (beer to take away too). The non-alcoholic beers are also good. Amazing service with very kind and professional waitresses.

Great lively atmosphere. The tacos were an explosion of flavour and I’ll be coming back to eat through the rest of the menu.

Nice setting with views on the brewery. Friendly and helpful staff. Well mastered craft beers in a nice declination of styles on tap (and you can look in the fridge for options not on tap). The food is tasty.

Great food. Good service. Original twists on every fish making it a must go. The atmosphere is very industrial and nice. Prices are well worth it.

A pleasure to drink some exceptionally tasty and original real ale brews here in Pais Basco. Anyone disillusioned by the mass produced pizzy lagers of cruzcampo, mahou etc which proliferate throughout Spain should treat themselves to a visit to this great brewery. Cheers!

Stopped here for a beer with my wife. Super friendly staff and excellent beer. The beers stand up to the best ones in our Pacific Northwest home. We will be back.

Great selection of very well priced beers. The steak was amazing and if you like your cheeses the smoked cheese cake was really special.

Con crema agria.
Elaborados con papada de cerdo a baja temperatura y cortados en láminas alargadas y finas.

Tacos De Cochinita Pibil | 7€
Crema agria y cebolla morada encurtida (2ud.)
Guiso de cabezada de cerdo, careta de cerdo, naranja, achiote (especia típica de Sudamérica) con un toque de picante y de cacao.

Burguer de vaca (125g) | 9,5€
Simple de 125 g. de carne, mayo de mojo, queso cheddar, cebolla asada y pepino agridulce.
Carne 100% lomo de vaca, sin añadidos; en pan de brioche y acompañada de patatas fritas y ketchup hechos en casa.

Pastrami de Costilla de Vaca | 13€
En rebanada de pan brioche, queso de vaca y “coleslaw” casero.
Pastrami: fiambre ahumado, de origen rumano y popularizado en Estados Unidos por los judíos emigrantes de esta zona.

Tarta de Idiazabal ahumado | 6€
Con mascarpone y palets bretons.
Bola de helado de mantequilla tostada y vainilla +1€ Tarta horneada de textura cremosa y galletas de mantequilla a las que hemos añadido grasa de txuleta.

Sitio acogedor, cerveza especializada y sabrosa comida. Lo que viene siendo un buen establecimiento.
Mi enhorabuena

Buena variedad de cervezas de grifo y botellín. Muy curiosa y sorprendente la Madarikatua. La comida es sabrosa y divertida. Los domingos hacen platos a la brasa con buena carne. Muy ricas las entrañas con patatas con mojo verde y las sardinas. Ricos postres dulces. Me ha gustado especialmente la tarta de queso. La carta no es muy variada pero para raciones y comida informal está muy bien. Alguna cosilla mejorable como la limpieza interior de los calamares pero es habitual verlos así.

Actualizo la reseña porque he vuelto a ir y siguen igual de bien, van cambiando la carta, ahora había rabas al estilo andaluz,bravas y ensalada que todo estaba riquísimo. Las cervezas están muy buenas pero lo que te hace volver a sitios así es un personal tan amable y simpático. La chica morena del pelo largo y el chico alto de pelo rizado, lástima no saber sus nombres, pero merecen ser lo destacado de esta reseña. Así da gusto ir y repetir.

Gran variedad de cervezas y comida muy rica. Nos ha atendido Edu, muy atento y agradable

Au détour d'un bouchon, une belle découverte, de bonnes bières, un bon repas, vos tacos: un délice.
Merci pour l'accueil surtout la serveuse ( une jeune blonde) qui a su s'adapter à sa table de petits français et à notre parlé espagnol pas terrible( désolés, on va s'améliorer)!
