This place is fantastic! Highly recommended. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, Txuleta is incredible and the atmosphere is perfect . We couldn’t have asked for a better experience :) Eskerrik asko ! We will return for more!

Love this place! Incredibly friendly, went out of their way, and we had a wonderful experience. They were even patient and let me practice my Spanish. Highly recommended! Food was outstanding, one of the best meals of our whole trip.

Very authentic and not too touristy, the staff was welcoming and gave suggestions on what to try. Some basic Spanish needed to order.

Had the txuleton (typical basque steak) with tomatoes, pimientos and the basque cheesecake for dessert. Everything was incredible.

Amazing food— ordered foie and txuleton with the tomatoes and peppers, and it was phenomenal. I have eaten the best tomatoes in my life here.

To eat Chuleton need to book in advance .
Tiny inside, only 3 tables and the bar, there is a terrace also.

Great locals neighbourhood bar in Gros. Always has an interesting menu with high quality food. The gambas a la plancha never disappoints.

Third time in this restaurant. Cannot come to Saint Sebastián without enjoying this food. A “must”.

Delicious meal with friendly service. I highly recommend making a reservation here and having the txuleta, pimentos, and some wine. The olives and chicken wings were tasty as well.

Outstanding local experience. All the food that we ordered was super delicious. Very much recommended.

Everyone seems to go to La Viña for Basque cheesecake but I came here instead as it was near my hotel. I really enjoyed it- a huge slice for 5 euros! I will come back to try other things on my next trip to SS.

Really great food (classic steak/tomatoes/pepper combination but a whole menu of other stuff too). Make sure you get a booking if you come on a busy evening as it’s pretty small, even with the on-street tables.

If you go to San Sebastián, u must stop here, the best place for a good piece of meat, and the most espectacular salad of tomatoes!! I never had in my life( travelling o et the world) a salad like this!! And was only tomatoes!!! Amazing dressing and excellent service. Absolutely recommended!

Waitstaff in San Sebastián aren’t always the friendliest to foreigners but this place was an exception. After bouncing off a few places and that were full of diners and with bristly reception staff, I was relieved these folks had a table and greeted my poor spanish with a friendly smile. Delicious basque steak too! Thanks for making me feel welcome!

Must visit place in San Sebastián! Best tomato salad (and we tried a few), delicious steak (served on a hot plate right at the table), and super friendly service.
