What a beautiful place to visit. We walked around on Christmas Day and everything was closed but there was also hardly anyone there so we had the whole place to ourselves. Amazing!

Horreos of Combarro is a remarkable site that offers a glimpse into Galician culture and architectural history. Situated in the picturesque village of Combarro in Spain's Galicia region, these traditional grain storage buildings embody both functional brilliance and aesthetic charm. Made of wood and stone, the horreos stand on pillars to keep the stored goods safe from moisture and pests. What sets the Combarro horreos apart is their sheer number and proximity to the sea, creating a unique and scenic vista that combines man-made ingenuity with natural beauty. The area is incredibly photogenic and offers a peaceful respite from modern life. Overall, a visit to the Horreos of Combarro is like stepping back in time, and is highly recommended for anyone interested in regional traditions and architecture.

The village one can see the ebb and the tide very crearly...the horeos are traditional warehouses that have become a tourist attraction... excellent hospitality and delicious food!...

It is the place to relax after crazy rythms of a big city. The village is tiny but you can spent here a full day just sitting in front of the sea and watching it. Also there are a lot of restaurants and cafes with a good choice of fish and seafood.

We ended up going in the morning and the tide was super low as you can tell by the photos. It’s a great place to take pictures and walk around. There are small shops that seem to offer similar items. There are restaurants where you can sit and have a drink while taking in the beautiful views.

unique seafaring village, close both to Pontevedra (7 km), and to other recognized towns such as Sanxenxo.
The most remarkable thing is its old area, where there are a large number of Horreos ( It has been declared an asset of cultural interest).
Combarro´s scenery is very changeable depending on the tide. With low tide low you can access the sand and see the hórreos from the sea. At other times, you will see them from the ground.

The narrow pedestrian streets along the shore of Combarro feature a rich collection of traditional Hórreos, around which there are a great selection of gift shops and restaurants selling fresh seafood. I highly recommend visiting for a few hours, if you are in the area.

Very nice bar with massive baguettes and the largest coffee we could find in Galicia

It's a rustic family run bar so expect just that but if you're hungry and just want a baguette burger or hot dog, there is nowhere better to go

This place is a little Gem just stunning, with its old cobbled streets and 30 granaries. Great restaurants & bars, little gift shops. So worth a visit.

Enchanting place great place to eat, drink. When the tide is low you can walk on the beach. Has a square with no traffic for kids to play or just to sit and contemplate. It gets real busy in sumner.
