Bioparc Fuengirola

Such a beautiful little zoo. Pretty, lush surroundings with large, well thought out areas for the animals. A very peaceful place tastefully and thoughtfully designed. Many different species of birds, fish, animals, plus a cafe and gift shop. Easy to walk round and wheelchair/ disabled friendly. Highly recommend. Ticket prices often discounted. So pleased we came across this gem. Was so much better than expected, we could have spent hours however turned up an hour and a half before closing. Just managed to get around, although missed a few animals due to them going to rest. Every enclosure is unique and lends it's self to the animals habitat, the enclosures house more than one animal making it more natural. Just beautiful, I hate visiting somewhere that puts money making before the animals. This place is definitely putting the animals first 10/10. Would come to Spain so see this again.

I’ve visited loads of zoos across the UK, this was up there with one of the best I’ve visited. It is a small zoo, having a good look at all the animals we spent 3 hours and saw everything (except the shy leopard)
The enclosures are very well designed, several species share the same space to make for a very natural experience. Don’t miss the shows they are fantastic, much better than the ones in the uk.
Only thing I would say is that for the experience it is quite expensive.

This was the most impressive kind of zoo I’ve ever visited. The animals don’t look caged and looks like well treated. We saw many workers going around and taking care of things. Nice description next to each animal place. Really enjoyed it! You can easily spend there 1,5-2 hours without feeling it!

Amazing place , yes it isn't massive ,but the variety of Rare animals will leave you speechless. I have always dreamed of seeing Arapaimas , or Cassowaries and guess what , they have them out there ! On top of that Gorillas , Orangutans , Chimps , Tigers and a real Komodo Dragon. Lemurs watching at 11am daily , is a must see , as they are so funny and charming. The kids were very happy, and amazed. It's a really lovely charming place , The coffee in the restaurant tastes great , and the toilet's facilities are clean and modern. Also the location of this garden in the centre of Fuengirola,makes it easy to access , it's open from 10am and you will need about a half a day to view it all and you still manage to hit your dinner in the hotel at 3pm :). Great Day out.

Walked past several times without wanting to go in. Thankfully, with the kids and grand kids wanting to go, we all went in. I have to say the kids loved it, as did we. The place is very well run and some great animals to see, so please don't just pass it by but go in and see what you have been missing.

I am not a fan of animals in captivity, however, this was an excellent experience with magnificent buildings and well maintained public and animal enclosures. The entire concept was brilliant. Lovely cafeteria with plenty of seating, and what appeared to be a restaurant. I, along with my daughter and another family member spent four hours there. Easy underground parking within metres. The discount coupon made the parking pleasantly cheap. I highly recommend this place, and it is a wonderful day out. I would go again at a moments notice.

The best Zoo I've ever seen! Its an amazing place for adults and kids to see many animals that are really well looked after.
Anybody visiting the area should definitely spend an afternoon at this one in a million zoo/animal Park.

We came here back in October 2023 - An amazing 'zoo' if you can call it that. All the animals look free and happy, and for such a small space they've really made the space for the animals so big and open, and the enclosures seem really like what the animals may experience in the wild. Very special experience would recommend.

Spent a great 3 hours in the bioparc, which is well laid out and accessible. The animals all look content. Though some may argue the male tiger isn't but if you read the bio from the Parc this pacing behaviour was established before he arrived. The female looks very majestic, serene and calm. It's is very well maintained, and feels very rainforest. We met at the baoboa tree to meet the lemurs who have everything they need on their island not to want to try and leave. We didn't meet the leopards as they had only just arrived. Well worth the circa £21 entry fee.

Really good afternoon out did cost a bit much to go in about 85 Euros for a family of 4 but lots of animals inside. We saw crocodiles, hippos, flamingos,tigers,gorillas and lots more. They show was great kids loved the birds flying over their heads. Great park but the gorillas were their fave the baby interacting by the viewing window made their day

Beautiful zoo. It amazed me how clean the park is. The park is also so beautifully dressed up! The animals are not in ‘cages’ but in more natural environments closed off with glass or rocks or branches. The playground at the end was a lot of fun for my 4y old. The only thing negative is that its a bit expensive for a rather small park. We stayed for about 2,5 hours on a sunday in November.

good biopark, located in the center of Fuengirola. There is parking nearby and it is convenient. tickets can be purchased at the box office or online. The park is large and there are many different animals from different countries of the world. There is a shop with souvenirs and you can take a photo as a souvenir. Suitable for all age categories. plan for at least 2-3 hours, this will be enough for you. I recommend💯

Small zoo ideal for families with children, where they have close contact with animals. Very nice plays with animals show. I can recommend. I visited it twice time with my family. It is better and cheaper to buy tickets in advance on the Internet.

Very nice! A bit expensive for a zoo but you can find discount vouchers here from leaflets and stores so you don’t have to pay full price. 25€/ adult or 18€ / pensioner or child. Animals were mostly sleeping in the shadows but its understandable because of the heat. Nice experience and very well taken care of park. I would definetly recommend visiting if you are going to Fuengirola.

Best of the best. This is a first zoo that really did their research with what are the best living conditions for the animals. A lot of the animals that they have are endangered in the wild and they are educating people on how to perserve their living space. We went to the lemur enclosure where you can see them up close and the staff tells you information about them.

Lovely zoo, possibly the favourite I've been to. Lovely flow, enjoyable surroundings and great animals. Kids loved it, very clean and check their website for discounts (IKEA family gives 50% off kids!)

A great zoo experience with interesting animals. The zoo was tidy and there was no limit on how long you could spend there so you wouldn’t feel as if you were being rushed. They had lemurs and birds able to roam free and come up to you which was really cool definitely would recommend a visit

Really great place. You can tell that the animals are kept well. Not too many species, but they are amazing.
Location is easy to find. We had almost zero waiting time, the place was not crowded at all.
We cought tortoise and gorilla feeding too.
