El Duende

We stayed in town for two days and found this restaurant based on google ratings and Michelin guide. And it didn't let us down. The food and wine were delightful. The service and atmosphere were excellent! Book a table in advance since the restaurant gets quite busy especially in the summer. The foie gras duck breast salad was soooooooo delicious and it was on every table, which made it a must order. We also got foie gras with toast, and those 3 pieces of foie gras were out of this world. Super yummy and they just melt in your mouth. I would recommend this dish too. Deer leg was brilliant and it made my husband super happy about the meal! If you happened to be in town for the hikes, try this Michelin guide restaurant or your will regret. :P

We had the menu at 37.50€ but worth it. Being English I know what some of the best lamb in the world tastes like. So I took a chance and ordered the half shoulder of lamb. It was delicious, one of the best tasting lamb dishes I have had in Spain. It was a large cut and a struggle to eat it all but I succeeded, and worth the effort. The bottle of red wine included in the price was a delicious grenache with flavours of a good Beaujolais. The service was attentive and they provided a doggy bag for my partner who was unable to eat all her lamb.

The best food I eat here . Everything is delicious and fresh. I was verry satisfied and my family the same. We will be back soon. 5 stars from us.

We went there to eat because of the huge amount of positive comeback, and we were not disappointed.

We took a menu to share (37,50€/person), which was totally worth it : the salad was perfectly seasoned, the meat perfectly cooked, and the dessert were amazing too - and of course the portions were by far big enough for two. We were even surprised that for this price, we had a hole bottle of wine and not just a glass.

The team was extremely nice and helpful with us : we don't speak Spanish but English and French, and they did everything to make us feel comfortable, and even tried to translate a few dishes in french for us to better understand what it is. Also, the place has a nice atmosphere and is really cute.

Stayed in Torla for a few nights and tried all restaurants with good reviews .. this is the only one that undoubtedly deserves every bit of the 5 stars. Every plate my group had was spectacular, and the service was amazing. 10/10 recommend.

A place where we will return with pleasure. Friendly and helpful staff. Very tasty food and dessert, freshly prepared, from quality ingredients! Everything is complemented by the rustic air of the restaurant and the place where it is located.

A petit, top notch restaurant you wouldn't expect in such a little town. The interior is very atmospheric and the service excellent. Our waitress could have been a role model for many more.
You can choose from different menu's ranging from 24 to 40 euros pp. with spanish specialties, but also surprising fish dishes. However it is not a good chois for vegetarians.
A reservation is recommended because there are only 5 tables available.

Amazing place, tasty food, good service

We loved our meal here. The staff were friendly, the menu had English translation, and the food was fabulous. Had lots of gluten free option if you need that. One tip, park outside the town and walk up, especially on the weekend.

It may have been because we were tired, cold, and incredibly grateful that they were the ONLY resteraunt open in the off season, but this was the best food we'd had our entire trip. The service was excellent and the salad was exceptional. Who knew pineapple, goat cheese and ham made for a perfect combination. Just as magical as their name. Would go back in a heart beat. No english or english menu but the owner was lovely and patient.

The host is very nice, she accommodate a room for our group even though the place was closed, and is pet friendly!

A delightfully cosy restaurant, with old world charm, a great change from modern places. Food was excellent, with wide selection for vegetarian as well. Service excellent and glad we shared the experience with friends from Barcelona.
