Amazing site with the most helpful staff. Small infinity pool with water slide overlooking a stunning vista. Pitches are flat and most van pitches have a view. Great shop stocking most items needed on a daily basis. Good playground for the kids and built in BBQ’s for the evening cooking. A good walk to the local beach but cycling on the paved patches is the best option if you need a sea swim. One of my favourite sites!

Really nice camping with wonderful views. Nice spaces, especially for smaller vans. Bigger caravans / vans might find them too small.

Sanitary always clean, however water going from warm to cold during showers.

Extremely friendly staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. Can advise hikes; places; services within the area.

Small shop with all necessities and bread in the morning.

Amazing campground with incredible views, very clean facilities, and super friendly staff. We were there in the shoulder season, so got a lot of rain, but still would rate our experience 10/10. Also received great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the local area. Hope to return one day in the sun! 😊

Just AMAZING. Amazing views, amazing staff, amazing sanitary. This was one of the best spots we stayed at so far. Nice hikes right around the corner. Beautiful viewpoints. Very calm stay to wind down.

If you do one thing in your camping life stay here. It is in a treasured and unique location, with stunning views and an utterly amazingly located infinity swim pool. I have stayed in a few hundered campsites and Camping Itxaspe is  very special even spiritual. I arrived after cycling the hills from San Sebastian and was greeted as if I was coming home by the family and staff who own and run the site. They clearly love what they do and take great pride in their work. I had intended to stay 1 night but stayed 3. The owners make this very special campsite even more special.

Incredibly friendly, helpful staff that is able to speak English quite well. The toilets and showers are clean. The beach is about 15 - 20 minutes away but you should only go there with proper shoes since some of the paths are slippery and steep. To access the beach you have to climb down a slope with a rope. It's also not a sand beach but rocks so keep that in mind. Probably shouldn't try to visit this beach if you have small children but the campground has a pool if that is the case.

Very nice well run site. The staff speak excellent English and are very helpful and friendly. They helped us when we had a flat tire by talking to the garage for us.
One word or warning for wheelchair users: Although there is a wheelchair accessible toilet there is a 5 metre slope down to it. I managed to get down to it in my manual wheelchair but I needed a push to get back up because my wheels weren't gripping the surface very well.

I was walking the Camino del Norte and the staff who all spoke good English were so kind when I arrived to rest for a couple of nights with a swollen ankle. Very solicitous and even giving me a bag of ice for it. The setting is beautiful and I would highly recommend the place. I had trouble getting the tent pegs in but the staff would no doubt have produced a mallet or some solution if asked.

We had an amazing stay! The camping has a beautiful view of the coast and is located perfectly for sightseeing in the area. There are hikes going from the camping along the coast line, there are many beaches and villages to visit. The staff was really friendly and gave us many great tips for visits in the area. Definitely recommend!!

The campsite is based quite high and has stunning views on the coast line.
The team at the reception is very friendly and gives a thourough info about the campsite as well as the possibilities for hiking and cycling.
If you are a beach lover you're going to need a car to drive to one of the nearby beaches.
The hike from the campsite to Zumaia is great, and certainly one of the most beautiful ones we've done.
The toilets and showers are modern and clean, and there is a separate area for little kids and a washroom for babies.
The small shop has everything you might need at first hand and there is a restaurant around the corner.
There is a swimming pool which we haven't used, but it looks nice.
We reserved online and due to the long weekend this was a good choice.
On Sept 10 the campsite was completo.
This is definitely a campsite we would go back to.

The staff are soooo friendly and helpful, can't thank them enough! The best views you'll ever find (wow!!). Plenty of space to cook own food and lots of BBQs to use. Super well stocked shop. Amazing pool. Perfect for cyclists. Best campsite in area by far!

We had a very nice stay here. The owners are extremely helpful & friendly. It has a nice location: 30min from San Sebastian & has an amazing view. We did the 5km hike up the hill, which was breathtaking. We came in May so the camping wasn't too crowded. Totally recommend!

Fantastic place. After riding a motorbike all day, the pool is perfect, the staff are great and friendly. The views are lovely. One tip, there are no local supermarkets so stock up or use the onsite shop and restaurant, really good food.

This is a lovely site overlooking the sea. The staff are friendly and full of valuable information, the facilities are clean and well managed although the rubbish bins could have been a bit closer. Getting a large vehicle up the access road could pose a problem as it’s quite narrow in places. I would have loved to try the pool but the weather was much too cold...maybe next time!

The location is fantastic with beautiful views over the sea and there are fabulous coastal walks from the campsite! The facilities are clean and very well kept. There is a small shop where you can buy supplies within the campsite and also a restaurant. I believe there’s also an outdoor pool, but wasn’t available as we visited too early in the year. The staff are very helpful and friendly!! I highly recommend this place!!

Great camping site with amazing views. Views! In plural!

I had my very first vacation sleeping in a tent. And what a place to start. WAUW! The first thing you see when you arrive at the camping site is the amazing view over the coastline. Cliffs and ocean as long as you can see!

The people at the Camping site is the most helpful I have ever met. You can ask them anything, from which beach to visit, tips on where to park your car, what kind of food to eat, you name it - they have the answer for you. And they truly care that you have a good stay. Warmhearted people <3

They have a little store and it is well assorted and with decent prices. F.eks I bought the local food Txistorra and the local wine Txakoli from the little shop.

The camping sites facilities are clean and in good condition. The showers are clean and with consistent hot water.

I want to come back!

One of favourite campsites. A wonderful setting with a panoramic view of the coastline from the bar patio area. A quiet site kept scrupulously clean and tidy by the friendly, helpful staff. Shower and toilet areas looked brand new and were immaculately clean. During our stay we walked in to Deba using the coastal path, which was well worth the effort. Reception staff were extremely helpful showing me the route using Google Earth. I have paid more at so called Category 1 sites that are nowhere near as good as Itxaspe.

Lovely campsite with spectacular views!! Very relaxing and dog friendly. We did want to change our plot to one with a view but the owners/reception staff were very adamant that it was impossible, which is understandable when its busy. The walks are great in the area however a little steep on the way back to the campsite. The reception staff are very helpful and explain everything to you very clearly! We will defiinately return when possible!
