Fountain with 'special' water that contains lots of iron. Most local people say it is good to keep healthy and young. I don't like the taste though. Nice location as it is in the main park of Puertollano.

Naturally fizzy sparkling mineral water, turn slightly brown if you leave it standing I imagine it's the iron content?

Es un sitio curioso de ver, está en un parque arbolado muy bien cuidado, con fuentes y todo señalizado y muy limpio. Muy agradable de pasear con niños. El agua tiene un sabor curioso, con gas y ferroso. Pero es potable, la gente se lleva garrafas para tomar. El agua que sale es muy poca pero limpia y clara. Nos ha gustado mucho.

La primera vez que visité Puertollano fue de casualidad y descubrimos su maravilloso paseo con su Fuente Agria y todas las propiedades medicinales de su agua. Tienen un dicho popular que dice , “quién de su agua bebe se vuelve puertellanense”. 😍 las veces que he ido ha sido visita obligada esta fuente y llenar una botellita de agua para beber. Entre otras cosas hay un museo de la minería que no pudimos ver por no disponer de suficiente tiempo pero que pienso visitar cuando pueda.

Aguas no aptas para todos los paladares!! Hay que probarla y saber sus beneficios. Historia y encanto de su tierra.
