Queralbs - Cremallera de Núria

A village established in year 1170, amazing architecture and view of mountains. Right place to do mountain biking and trekking. And don’t forget to taste the local dessert flam❤

Queralbs station is located in pretty place .
You will find it very easily once you are around .
There are plenty of FREE parking places .
To take the train to vall de Nuria you need to park your vehicle in Queralbs and take a blue train to go to the station 🚉
We parked the vehicle overnight and it was safe and sound .
The staff of the station is too good .
There is a clean and neat bathroom for men and women seperately .
It is well maintained .
Good station to take some pictures and walk around ,
Great views can be observed from here as well :)

You need to scan the tickets which you would have brought while booking the hotel at Nuria or you can book the train tickets individually ahead on the website .

You want to enjoy an amazing day in the mountains ⛰? You should come here! It’s just 2 hs from Barcelona. You can then take a train 🚂 or do a 2 hs trekking (which we really recommend). The place is great and the hiking 🥾 also. You can find a restaurant at the end in Vall de Nuria, and take a train for going back. It’s a bit expensive to be honest. It’s EUR 16 per person but it worst it. Be aware to buy the tickets prior boarding. Due to COVID situation you can buy them online. Just google Vall de Nuria. Come here and enjoy the views. You can rent ski equipment
Outside barcelona ( about a hour and a half by car from the center of the city) on the pyrenean mountains ( about a hour from the border of france) the place got an hotel a resturant and a cafe on the mountain top

Amazing mountain train experience. Just go there, enjoy the train on your way to a hike. Take window seats on the east side for the best views.

This transport is required to enter the Vall de Núria, it is a short trip up to the top of the mountain, with wonderful views along the way. Sometimes you can take trip without places to sit. There are parking in the stations and are easy to access incluse for wheelchair users.

Expensive but very beautiful and necessary way to go to noria it's worth it.

Hacia 50 años que no subía en el, me ha traído muchos recuerdos. Las vistas espectaculares y la Vall de Nuria fantástica con el monasterio, el lago y las pistas de esquí (con muy poca nieve y fabricada con los cañones)

Vale la pena subir a ver el paisaje desde arriba del todo y pasar el día, se pueden hacer varias rutas de senderismo. El ticket del tren cremallera incluye la subida con teleférico arriba del todo. Un lugar espectacular, recomiendo llevarse almuerzo y comer en la montaña o al lado del lago. Tuvimos la suerte de ver algunos animales en su hábitat (de lejos) cuando subimos arriba, muflones, isards y una marmota, ya que aún no había subido nadie.

Una maravilla de recorrido unos paisajes que vale mucho la pena ver aunque sea una vez los 32 euros que se pagan ida y vuelta es lo más complicado para los viajeros que van en familia
