Barcelona-Sants

Train station was clean and tracks were easy identify. Boarding was easy. We traveled “first class” on Iryo from Sevelle. Ride was awesome at 270 MPH.

A bright airy train station with a slick check in and trains to all parts of Spain and beyond.

Unlike a lot of train stations, it feels welcoming, safe and has plenty of facilities. Metro and bus links to the centre of Barcelona and plenty of decent accommodation nearby.

Huge train station, easy to navigate, very clean and lots of shops and restaurants to kill time while you wait for your train!

If you were in Japan, they would sentence you to prison or life, the delay of a medium-distance train from Sants Estación to Estación de Francia (practically only two stations) starts with a discrepancy from: 16:12, after which you wait...16:27 from which 16: 41 which changed to 16: 45. seriously??? are you a train, you have only one way of access without intermediaries, one line, one road and you can't get there on time? or at least with a maximum of 7-8 minutes late??? to be late by 27 minutes on 130-150 km intervals??? this is how we show ourselves to the health of the transport system. Unfortunately, these things happen every day in any form of transportation. maybe that's why people only trust the noise produced by their own cars... NOBODY can afford to arrive at work late every day. everyone would be out of a job
The latest changes and the new look it's really nice and more accessible than before. Hope to get it more clean and not so busy. Although it's really a great,huge and great station 🚉⛽

The station is well organized. The staff are helpful but unfortunately busy. If you’re a tourist make sure your Fast Control QR Code is open to be checked by a representative. Try to be at least 45mins earlier than your train as it is too crowded. The station is accessible by all means of transportation. It has a very nice cafe and restaurant if you would like to get a meal.

Quick to get thru and great helpful staff that I met. Easy enough to navigate for a major train station in Europe.

One of the best and well organized train station I ever saw. It's modern, clean, well organized and perfectly connected to major cities like Valencia, Madrid, Paris or Marseille. Lots of automatic tickets machines, also many info points with well trained staff. At the upper level there are some cafeterias, restaurants and shops. It's like a Mall this train station. Maybe better than this one is just Wien Westbanhof.

Clean, modern and with many places to get something to eat or coffee.
It’s also well organized and not too noise there is a free Seat sponsored waiting area with complimentary WiFi and outlets to charge your electronics.
There is a security check with machines before boarding but it moves fast, not like the airport ones.
Metro is accessible without leaving the station and it gets you anywhere in the city.

Smooth train experience. Didn't have any issues finding my train, staff were very helpful and there are many shops for travelers to stop at if needed.

I definitely liked the station, it is well-designed and very organized. There are signs everywhere that tells you all the directions to platforms and metro lines. You can almost find anything you want inside: food, pharmacy, coffee etc. There's a big parking in front of the station for taxies and public transportation. There is also awaiting area inside in front of the ticks windows.

I don’t usually post but I want to express my gratitude to this wonderfully helpful young lady (not sure of her name but people call her “curly hair”). So what happened is my friend and I bought T-Casual card and we made sure that we have one trip left for the airport transfer, when we reached the airport however, one card was defective, when we asked one old uncle at the station, he said that my card is “finished” and he asked me to buy a new ticket. Because I was rushing to airport, so I bought another ticket at the machine, but then my friend found out that there is a word “esgogat” on her T-casual and mine didn’t. So we went back to the station and asked for help from this lady, she was super helpful and referred us to different people at the counter and helped us to translate and helped us to get our ticket back. She even helped to confront the old uncle and the uncle insisted that my card is “esgogat” when he read it, and he was not friendly at all although it was definitely his fault. Nevertheless, the curly hair young lady brought us back to the ticket counter and we got our refund!!!! Although it’s just 4.6euro but I’m eternally grateful for the act of kindness that she showed us in the station. Gracias young lady!

Very busy but helpful staff helped with transfers from train to local cercanias

A place to buy seat reservations on Spanish Renfe trains particularly if travelling on Eurail. Take a ticket and be prepared for a wait. Staff helpful and welcoming. Seating available and cafe food available.

Beautiful neighbourhood to visit absolutely. A long avenue with famous brands and luxurious brands, beautiful architecture, large sidewalks so it’s way to walk

This is Barcelona's main train station. Though there are plans to use La Sagrera as the new main train station in the future I thought that Sants is better centrally located. I traveled to Girona today and everything went smoothly. There is a large cafeteria and convenience store inside. All the train itineraries are posted clearly and there are plenty of information officers walking around if you have questions.

This is how all train terminal should look like. It is modern, compact but still very efficient. I like the idea of keeping all rails underground so that they do not distort the way that the city looks.

Easy to maneuver through. We caught Train from Barcelona to Madrid, no problems!

Clean train station with a variety of eateries. Some which were open at 7 am. If you have a long train ride I suggest purchasing food to take with you. There's a limited selection of coffee, drinks and basic sandwiches on board.
