Amazing good quality, which we didn't expect when searched for a restaurant near the hotel. It's a very unique location in the basement. Get down some stairs, and you will be wowed. We enjoyed everything we ordered, but especially el atún rojo al horno 😋😋

The entrance might look unassuming from the outside but this restaurant is a gem of a find on our second day in San Sebastián. It really deserves 5 stars from the freshest food, lovely interiors to conscientious & friendly staffs. We had the best and most delicate tuna belly salad and monkfish with white wine sauce, Yummy.

Excellent food, all main dishes were outstanding. The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed, while elegant. Highly recommend.
Pro-tip: if you visit with kids, they can eat and then play at a playground nearby, then let them get ice cream in the shop next door, while you enjoy your meal and coffee.

Wonderful restaurant. Ordered many plates between the 6 of us and each was delicious in its own right. The anchovies were a perfect start, the potato omelette was one of the best cooked omelettes ive ever eaten and the steak was beautifully cooked. The pacing of the meal was perfect and the constant refill of bread without needing to ask was wonderful. The puddings were also lovely, in particular the wonderfully sweet apple cake and the chocolate lava cake which delivered on being molten. Highly recommend

Very good ! With had the peppers stuffed with oxtail that were excellent. I highly recommend.
The entrecôte was delicious, excellent meat and perfectly cooked.
The service and the place are nice too. You can be surprised to go down the stairs but the atmosphere is nice.

My husband was a bit spooked by the outside looks and the mysterious stairs down, but we had a very pleasant dinner for fair price. We especially liked the risotto with squids and monkfish (also appreciated by our toddler daughter) as well as the cheesecake.

The chef knows how to cook, lovely bacalao croquettes, perfectly cooked gambas and the most delicious rice dish with monkfish and squid. A pleasant environment with friendly staff.

Great place and food. If you are looking for Basque quality cuisine at a reasonable price, don't miss this place while in San Sebastian. Usually starters are in form of pintxos, and later you can choose a second dish and a dessert. Worth enjoying a meal in this place!

The beef tenderloin, duck in portsauce and truffle cake are AMAZING. 8,5/10. Great setting too.

They didn’t open until 1pm on the Saturday we were there so be wary of the hours listed on Google.
