Andre Mari Parrokia

This church offers an unexpected mix of history and contemporary art. The architecture of the church is impressive. Inside you will also find a small museum with medieval, contemporary and modern art. This is included in the admission fee of 3 euros per adult.

Don't expect a full-blown museum experience. It's more a collection of different art. We enjoyed the temporary exhibit about Jorge Oteiza, one of the most influential Basque artists. It shows several sculptures which provide both contrast and connection to the church atmosphere.

You can probably spend about 30 to 60 minutes here in order to see both the church, the chapel and the museum. It was not very crowded (on a Monday afternoon) so no need to rush.

Nice cool stop in the oppressing summer heat, nice music, and a good guy holding the door open.

Magnificant arts

Muy bonita, de las más bonitas de la ciudad… ;-) merece la pena visitar

Preciosa, grande, impresionante y su interior es muy bello, clásico de su época.
Hay un museo adentro y para ese toca pagar.

Tiene una fachada muy chula, pero por dentro es más interesante que la catedral del Buen Pastor. Gótica aunque con añadidos posteriores. La iglesia más interesante de San Sebastián.

Molto particolare, facciata senza spazio davanti, appare all'improvviso.
